This really does look vintage. I bet the little guy loves it just as much as his big sis loved it in its previous incarnation! Right now, most of my nails are really short, mostly because I have to hand wash my dishes and I use hand sanitizer frequently (thanks, Covid). I never mess with my hair, preferring it to be short-ish. And I don't wear makeup. But I sure do love to paint my furniture and one of these days, I might even try a canvas. As always, you do you - because no one else could do it as well!

Beautifully done! I was stationed in the MPs in Italy and later was in Baumholder, Germany. I love the pieces you are finding in Luxenborg. Keep up the shopping in Europe because we all enjoy seeing what is available. Here in Bahrain the pieces are very limited.

Love this! I'm looking for ideas for cupboard doors in a campervan build! I Want to use shading, decoupage of vintage insect drawings and stencil gold victorian damask type patterns here and there. I want it to look old and everything to kind of overlap! Never done anything like this before but your videos are giving me the confidence to try it! Beautiful! When you say dixiebelle does not need a top coat do you mean it does not need any kind of top coat like a sealer? It seems like a dumb question but I just started using chalk paint and have bought different brands and watched different people on youtube. You are my favorite person to watch, not only because of your talent but because you explain in detail what people like me need to learn. Anyone can start a youtube channel and can give information but have no idea what they are talking about, so I will search for people like you who actually know what they are doing. I have watched videos where people have said you can use chalk paint with other brands of chalk paint and then there are people who have said you cannot. I like dixiebelle the best however being a beginner I have not only bought way to much useless stuff to complete my projects but also bought different brands which I would like to use. I am 50 years old and I am looking for a hobby to keep me busy and of course to have fun with. I decorated homes for about 20 years and I now love painting furniture. Anyway, I am just trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks Drue

I love how the one side almost looks like a drip running down the drawers.. Just a cool little accent! And don't worry about your hands - - I have man hands, short stubby fingers and can't grow nails. I build furniture so I say that God created my hands perfectly for the work I love. @@BellaRenovare it almost seems like it could have been caused by the spray wax? I think I’ve noticed similar effects before I buff in the spray wax... Either way, it looks freaking awesome.
