To darn cute! I think you did a great job. 👍 The deburring tool everyone says to get, I got one of them, and like you, I'm having trouble working the darn thing. I too wish it would STOP spinning. There is definitely a "learning curve" to using the silly thing! 😮 I have FINALLY got enough supplies to do some projects if life will settle down a bit & quit kicking my butt! I enjoy your work tremendously & you are teaching me a lot. Thank you. 🤗
Thank you, Carol! After people suggested that deburring tool, I did get one.. Is there a learning curve? haha I mean is the blade attachment supposed to spin at the top? I wish it was stationary and didn't spin!
@@resinnut9335I think it spins to keep you from putting too much pressure. Also, it follows the contour of your piece. I have one and I think it works wonders.
You always have such great and different ideas, this turned out so cute. I definitely wouldn’t of even thought about putting a mould within a mould!!👍👍🤩🤩
That’s so cute! I did something similar with cube molds… I made a desk clock out of a large cube mold and then a smaller one inside of it ton old the clock mechanism… it turned out really nice… I wonder if you put the smaller sphere in upside down with the opening on the bottom before pouring the resin in, and then Fill the large on up around the smaller on if that would work to give you the hollow bowl… I might try that out myself :)
So creative! I wonder if you've watched Sveta (her channel is Fresh Ideas in Resin). She shows a series of small projects without talking (I'd rather have the talking than the music), but one of her things is making several smaller spheres with things inside them, and then adding a smaller sphere into the larger bubble mold. Great effects and photography too. Because of her not narrating, it's kind of hard to guess what she's doing sometimes, but most times its pretty easy to figure out. She really does ha e some great ideas, if you want more inspiration. I'm loving your channel, and catching up on some of your older stuff❤
Hi, I was thinking that since you went to all the trouble to make a bowl it might be nice to differentiate the water from the bowl with just a touch of green or blue colour.
Hi ❤ that's a realy cute idea,, and would look great on the bath tub . I can make a fish from polymer clay and put him in the bowl I myself would add a tinch of silver gliter to the resin water mix, very very little, just a sprinkle so that my fish bowl has a little sparkle to the water not everyone likes glitter in everything, but I like just enough to see spots of glitter here and there, moss would look great with tiny sea shells too and to have my fish looking like he's moving to the top for food, in fact I painted my bathroom years ago in the house we were in then, power blue emulsion, and when dry, I used crystal and glitter tulip brands fabric paint and pained reeds from the edge of the bath to the ceiling and painted in the fish in gliter and crystal fabric paints took me around 5 months to complete it but loved relaxing in the bath with the fish swimming beside me!!!! Along with the corals all free hand pained in fabric paints. I even did a canvas aquarium. That took around 9 weeks. Hope you don't mind me sharing that with you, I love your work so much❤🐟🐠🐡🐚
Carol! I corrected the link for right molds! Oh my goodness I hope no-one bought the glass! Oo. Thank you very much for bringing that to my attention! ❤
Yep and the Dollar Stores have them here in the U.S. But I didn't have one at the time, so wanted to try making one. At least now I know I can make a bowl that way. 😀
