A fav of mine - took a course and loved learning. A friend's mother in Germany made the most gorgeous lampshade - and all I could do is stare at it - magnificent. TY for teaching this! One of the things I learned was how easy it is to fix a wrong cut. *That* made me less nervous in the learning process. Will you show how to do that, if necessary?
@Theresa. To end off a thread run it through the middle of the bars as if to make another figure eight but don't bring it back to the top. Turn the work over and run the threaded needle under one side of the figure eight you've just completed and clip the end. Don't do this with a partially completed bar, only one where you have enough thread to complete the entire bar.
