Thank you! i've been dying to learn how to play this style and i've never known where to go to learn. grateful to you, mate. will definitely get the full course
You shouldnt be at all. Start with easier songs...I first started to learn the Nomad, but that was way too hard for me, so I got frustrated and at that time I thought I would never be able to play Calums Songs. But 2 years later I tried to play Farewell, and I actually managed it... Just enjoy the process and Calums Tutorials are super helpful. For the start Farewell, Grace, Lighthouse and even Journey of Love are a good start...just have fun and be patient
@@laurazajamusic4873 Thank you, Laura, your example and words are encouraging. I have a lot of issues with my eyesight. Reading music isn't easy for me. I think a tutorial may help. Playing my own music eliminates having to read music, but every time I learn someone else's songs I grow, musically. I had a neat piano teacher in my teens, who let me learn pretty songs WAY above my then-ability. I was grateful because these difficult pieces kept me challenged in a way learning to play an easier song would not have. I then had to go backward and learn to play scales and arpeggios on my own...but for me this kept me playing!
@@eliseatpaintingglory4654 I am sorry for hearing that. But the great thing about music, is that you can figure out a lot by ear. I guess a tutorial would be very helpful... if you have the will and the motivation u can achive everything, also your Musical Background will help you a lot. Wish u the best on your way
@@laurazajamusic4873 Thank you, Laura. I chose to be primarily a visual artist when I was your age, while music remained my greatest joy when I hit a painting block, and playing it has never seemed like "work" to me. I agree with you, Determination, Perseverance and Patience will take you a long way in anything you focus on! =) Your own music is a testament to good ol' elbow grease!
