Hello Tiffany I have a quick question??? I'm in the process for getting my first Ipad pro 11 & I was wondering what kinda screen protector are you using I really like the sound of your screen protector it kinda sounds like paper when you draw & I've seen so many of those & I just wanna know what brand it is or if it's even worth getting a paperlike screen cover thanks for any advice :D
I'm glad I'm not the only person who buys a bunch of new craft supplies and then never actually does a project! :P Your little apple came out so cute and now I wanna try punch needling!!!
Really impressed you were able to complete the project using the wooden hoop! Those are known to be pretty terrible at keeping the fabric taut. Morgan no slip hoops, gripper frames, or stretcher bars + staples or tacks are all good alternatives. Also the wooden needle you used looks to be an imitation of the Oxford punch needle-the brand just posted about there being lots of fake versions of their patented design lately! Definitely recommend anyone looking for a needle shop the Oxford needle directly from their site or from verified resellers :) Lastly, a great tip I learned for making lines clearer (like the mouth) is to rip out that yarn when you're done with everything else, then re-punch it :)
As an embroiderer (never tried this but def will after watching!), when using thinner fabric like this you've got to use smaller embroidery hoops, even on big projects! Go section by section.
This looks so freaking adorable 🥰 🍎 I'm thinking of buying supplies for both punch needle and embroidery to see which I like best :) I'm always anxious and think it's a great outlet to do w ur hands :) I wanna try your apple design it's so adorable! Btw ur aesthetic and voice are so calming 😌 new subbie from NY! 😊
This makes me totally want to try punch needling, I do knit crochet and embroidery and have a lot of materials so this seems like a great way to de-stache a bit on my yarn! Great Job and it looks so cute!
You're one of the few artists that I always re watch and feel very comfortable watching. It feels like Im with a friend 🌷💜 thank you tiff for making videos that keep me company
Your punch needle rug turned out so cute! You did a lot of punch needling in just one hour. No wonder your hand was cramping haha. I've never tried punch needling but it seems like a craft that is better to do in increments
Ive watched a lot of videos on punch needling, including people trying it for the first time, but this is the only one that actually showed things going wrong, which i really appreciate. If i try a new craft and things go wrong unexpectedly it's always really demotivating for me, so this helps me know what to expect!
I loved this video so much, I've wanted to try punch needling for a while and this has given me the motivation to start - is there any chance you could link the punch needle needle you used?
This is so cuuuuuute :D hehehe I love it it's a bit like a pixeled character from a videogame! I also didn't know this technique before, now I really want to try too :D :D :D
omg tiffany this turned out so beautiful!! I've wanted to try this myself but I got really overwhelmed when I looked into how-to videos 🥴 seeing your first run of this craft is so inspiring!! I think your apple friend turned out so so cute! 💖💕
I’m only half way through but I think you showing us your mistakes at the beginning really helps us. I’m sure I would have done it just like you. I also saw that if you remove the yarn and have those big holes, you can ‘erase’ then by running your fingers over them. Also use a screwdriver on the metal screw on the hoop to tighten the fabric after pulling taught. Also keep the needle facing forward all the time ( so you see the yarn at the point). I heard the purple and yellow tufting needle is the better one to use. Make sure you stitches are consistent by pushing the needle through the monks cloth all the way down. Ok I’m going back to the vlog lol 💕
verry cool :D I never tried this, but know I realy want to ;) Think you did a great job! I also realy like the no-glasses-look :) you look very artsy today
What you said about "the eyes are drowning" is because it's not finished yet!! lol, you have to grab your scissors and cut all the yarn, that way the final image will appear more clearly, idk how to say it in english, hope you understand 💚
Check CurrieGOAT channel, he made a pretty short but full punch needle tutorial. It explains all of the common mistakes in the process of making rugs :)
This makes me want to give it a try too! sometimes i think i won't be good at other mediums but i never even give myself a chance to try anything. This was nice to see you try something new even if its not as perfect as we artists want our creations to be.
Sometimes loops get tangled in each other when punching, so if you take care to untangle the loops and push them into place, thin lines will stand out more! It really makes a difference when finishing your work!
Your wall hanging came out so cute! Congrats on your milestone! I think it’s such a great idea to celebrate with a day of learning a new skill. I really like the idea of treating oneself to a new craft, it seems like it might help take the pressure off and it’s not something I would have thought to do. ❤️💙
You are sooooo creative~ I hope I’ll get far with my art as well. But I guess passion should be really paired with skills. I can’t see fruits of my passion, hehe. Anyhow, let’s keep creating art~ thank you for this video~ 😊🌻✨
What type of the cloth act ? Before this i do a punch need to but not achieve it until now im so sad 😢 bcs idk what suitable cloth to do a embroidery use a punch needle
I have had a punch needle sitting on my desk taunting me for 4 years. This video has FINALLY made me want to use it! SO CUTE. I'm going to get some monks cloth and a no slip loop and give it a try! YAY!
