they're not complicated, they just have a bit extra stuff (slides, bends, time signatures, pull offs/hammer ons, etc)

Just started to play for the first time and knew nothing about how to play guitar. I came through alot of videos teaching to play guitar here on RU-vid. But truly yours have helped the most and truly one of the reasons I'm still practicing and trying to learn new stuff everyday is your videos. Thank you for showing this in such a way that works for folks who work better when they can visualize things. Watching your hands up close on the guitar is much more helpful than having you talk at the camera. You sir are a very good teacher.

Dude. Thank you. You are the man I’ve been able to keep up with my brother-in-law and his friends that are bad ass at guitar and they think I’m a natural. Been able to jam but haven’t been able to pick up tabs. Been hanging out with some buddies tonight that did not play guitar but I just got home and I’m trying to learn some Outkast on the guitar. Dang!! I'm 61 and have been playing guitar for 46 years!! NEVER bothered taking the time to learn TAB!! Had I only known!! I recently watched "RIPLEY" on Netflix and wanted to try the amzing Italian guitar they do. I came across "Italian Guitar Lessons" and he was using TAB! Next step, how do I play tab?? Hey Be Yourself, I hope I get enough time this season to get around to teaching "When A Child Is Born" as it is a beautiful song, but I cannot guarantee that I will! (I still have to work a day job, etc, and I am the only person working on my channel right now), but what I recommend you do is learn the basic chords instead of focusing on tabs and strum along to the recording. You can generally find decent chords on websites like Ultimate Guitar, although sometimes they are not correct, so it's best to view a few and make sure it sounds right. I always had hard time with the order of the string lines. I imagine looking at a guitar placed on the floor. You are the only guy who also think and explained it in that way.
