Great tutorial! But this also shows some oft the weak points of the J-6 (and maybe the entire Aira Compact series). E.g. the missing Pattern-Link functionality is something that limits the usage of these devices. The Effects (Delay and Reverb) are cut and retriggered within the pattern change. But it still makes fun to use them and especially to combine them and jam together!
Great reflection! This is exactly why I love them as a starting point into electronic music performance for early-stage electronic musicians - enough there to get started, but a few constraints that we can hit as skills develop that will require levelling up the gear.
