I first watched this a couple years ago and it blew me away.. but I was still new to production and didn’t quite understand all the techniques you used in this tutorial.. Now coming back today and watching again, I have a whole newfound appreciation for just how flawless of a job you did on this beat. And now that I have the tools and skills to be able to pull something like this off, it’s given me inspiration to try my hand at making a Kanye type sample beat. So thank you for an amazing video that only got better with time. Salute to you. You truly are a master of your craft! -OTM Beatz
Just thinking , doing a soul sample flip like Kanye did on “Slow Jams” or “Through The Wire” or anything from College Dropout era would be dope to see. That style is much different from the MBDTF style.
My beatiful dark twisted fantasy is good but I find the earlier albums late registration and college dropout even better. listened my whole youth to them. However, nice sampling technique and tutorial. Never heared of Tracklib. Will check it out. Cheers mate!
I’m not understanding how a person would dislike this.. I hear flaws in it. But to track lib and not get distracted by all the options is an achievement in itself! J u da man
@@Verysickbeats alc has a couple different styles too, his new stuff is very different from his old mobb deep stuff for example. i find it interesting to study his different styles.
@@k_kingz2317 I like his older style alot more.... I'll say alot of the material from around the time those Rappers best friends Albums were dropped -. When he was chopping up samples a bit more..... But he has a crazy discography.
Beat tougher than a well done steak my boii You used samples from like 5 different songs. If this beat go mainstream, wouldn’t you have to split up with all the artist you sampled from?
Great job. You really captured the feeling of that album with that track. Excellent work. I'll definitely put those techniques in the toolbox. Would be pretty insane to do a beat like that
I think only Primo can do Primo. Never have I heard a Premier type beat or even a legit producer naming Primo as a main influence making something that you could mistake as a Primo beat. Inversely never have I heard a Primo beat that didn't immediately struck me as a Primo beat
You didn't hear this from me, but this plus a lyrics generator (or a working knowledge of Kanye's lyricism) equals a Kanye spoof that can skewer his descent into anti-Semitic madness. Please someone make this happen.
Big bro do you have any videos showing how to match an old sample to a faster BPM? I have SERATO as well but sometimes it doesn’t fit? Should I just chop the sample & play it with the keys? Play around with the Time stretch on SERATO ?? Orrrr...? Idk 🤷🏿♂️
