I’ve never tried belting after I was 10 and belted improperly after going through my musical phase, I’ve never fully recovered from that lol. Right now, I don’t have a voice teacher but I hope I’m using the right technique, it feels like a loud head voice. This was helpful!
I always wanted to be a singer but I eventually gave up because I can’t see it going anywhere. Don’t give up on your dreams guys it’s not worth it you can do anything ❤ (I’m 13 so it’s not too late I’m just not good enough)

Yeah after watching kpop all day, I think I could sing like them but the truth was that I sounded like a dying crow, I just realised it after I heard my voice on phone lol
Love your voice, but can you try to do a really strong belt? I do musical theatre, and I can only belt when I sing 😅, so I wanna hear you do like a true belt.
When I was singing while sick I recorded it and I sounded like I was holding my nose and was literally being possesed when trying to hit those high notes. I can’t sing😭
I'm 12 I sang all song of Taylor swift and I got award that I'm best singer at school but I'm not satisfied and I will go to music class to learn how to sing and how to play guitar when I get 18 and I'll start music my career at the age of 19 or 20

So I can actually sing but only when alone. I can sing along with a song and stay in perfect harmony with their pitch but when ppl are around my vocal cords become like paralyzed and my vocal range becomes severely small. I have even tried recording myself alone but just knowing I'm being recorded I can feel my throat become tense. Is there a way to get around this? I absolutely love singing and nothing feels like the feeling when you nail the vocals of a good song that has a lot of emotion.
Hey, great question. The best way is to get confident performing by yourself and then to perform around people who make you feel good and then more and more people and it will get easier with time):
@Mai Geri Sounds good, even trying to sing around my fiance of 14 years is almost impossible, I can do it but my ability drops 80% Another thing I wanted to ask is, I'm very good at singing along to the song in perfect harmony where our voice merge into one and are indifferentiable but I never found MY singing voice, I have a habit of mimicking the singers I'm singing along to, I have never tried to sing my own song, even when alone i sing in their flow and rhythm. I've yet to discover my own voice.
This happens to me too unfortunately. In the comfort of my room I sound good but as soon as I suspect anybody is listening( including the recorder like you said 😅) I go flat. I choke up. I think an overall reduction in generalized anxiety and stretching/yoga can help release tension helping the muscles relax- think holistically 🙂
@@mrzpkinggt7827 hello, so for singing when you first start out, your voice will sound a bit raw because you haven’t worked on it. The age doesn’t matter as much. What matters is when you started singing. For example, I began singing at the age of 10 and my voice also sounded less mature but after taking voice lessons and singing a lot, I improved significantly. So there is nothing wrong with a raw voice, I promise. It just means that you haven’t trained your voice yet. It takes time but the more you sing, the easier it will get. I recommend voice lessons:) hope this helps.

This is false, you cannot just have someone say "how to become a good singer" girl no, it takes literal REAL practice you don't just look up " hOw tO bEcOme a GOod sInGer"
It takes practice and the correct exercises, you won't improve much if you're not fixing anything you're doing wrong, but when you get the correct exercises, you are right after finding out what you're doing wrong, it's all down to practice and warming up you're voice.

No no, it took me some time to get the point of the exercise when my teachers showed me. You want to learn to control your breathing and practice breathing from your diaphragm. It helps you sing with more power.
