Diamond thank you for this video. The skates I initially purchased were stiff, so I returned them. I got a suede skate and it allowed me more flexibility to lean and cross over. It’s also a bit lighter. Who knew!! lol!
I always thought edge work was actually going up on the edge of the wheel. Like when doing an ice Berg spin your spinning on just the front two inside wheels while the front outside wheels and back trucks are off the ground. You can practice this just like your tutorial just got to tilt your ankle more. Kinda like a car that almost tips over on two wheels but you control it.
Wear safety gear. At the minimum wear wrist guards. Maybe sign up for some simple group classes. The classes for most rinks usually fall on Saturday morning before public session. Have fun🤠🛼🛼
78a is best. I have Hyper Rollo 1980s vintage wheels. They are indestructible! No conning either. Harder wheels for inside like the 90 range to 105 which is very hard and slides more
It depends on how comfortable, You feel as You loosen Your trucks, Every time You loosen them a little bit, then You skate to see how they feel, You do this, until it's the perfect feel as You lean into Your skates...I Hope this Helps...🥰
