You state that if you put any more in your node that you don't get more return. This is untrue, as their docs and discord state that if you stake more on your node, it does give you more of a return, but returns do diminish the more you put in. So putting more into your node is not a bad idea, particularly if you want to offset the amount that you are paying to run the VPS
hi, I have a quick question, I have a presearch node with almost 5000 PRE in staking, if I want to shut down my node, how can I withdraw my PRE? Thanks a lot
HI, Today i get my first Nodes on Presearch, i follow your video for host and setup and works for all with no problems. Now a have a BIG question i can't find the solution on the oficial docs, hope you have the answer, Let's say i have 21 NODES and want do close/Remove one, What is the process ans how to send back the tokens Stake on that node to the wallet, the only info i get in docs it's about Stop and restart tje node , nothing more. Thanks
glad it helped you! if you want to shut down a node, you can select the node in the Presearch dashboard, then enter staking amount of 0. This will unstake your node. You can move your PRE tokens to your wallet or anywhere you want.
Would a more powerful machine do better and potentially increase profit? I'm asking because I have both a dedicated server and VPS as options available. I have a dedicated server with 192GB RAM, 16 cores and 32 threads so if performance is an important factor in a node's ability to generate profit, then I will likely use a VM on it and will likely just reduce the resources allocated to that VM after I get my MMORPG to a point where I decide it will go global. My MMORPG is currently in desperate need of content updates, which I am taking care of.
no unfortunately it will not increase you earning on this kind of service. earnings on presearch or determined mostly by uptime on the network once you've met the minimum requirements. there are node projects that would benefit from the massive amount of hardware you have. you could do something like 1 presearch node, 5 streamr nodes, a flux node and something else
@@CryptoJar i did some more research. i could also buy a block of several public ip addresses from my isp and assign those to each additional presearch node
rackerd is definitely cheaper than digitalocean ... What about the APY or APR? is it interesting ? as i saw, estimated reward is about 5-7PRE/day.. around 7-10$/month , can you confirm ?
Yup that's pretty accurate I've been getting about 7 PRE a day. I don't know the exact APY but I think it's around 6%. I believe the reward system was designed so the hosting cost are covered. Using Racknerd will allow you to squeeze more profit 👍
Sorry for the late reply. You need a PC with multiple cores, about 4 gb ram, and at least 40gb of extra storage. I made a video on how to install in Windows, you can check that out
you are only able to run 1 node per ip. so you would need to setup another vps/computer on a different network. Streamr allows up to 5 nodes per ip address
