Honestly you guys would make more money posting these videos to RU-vid. You would get ad revenue, sell merch, and practically have no competition.

Hi Anthony, Thank you for your suggestion. The cost of making quality tutorials such as the ones on our online tutorial platform is much higher than an average RU-vid video. The only way we were able to finance these videos until now was through our surf coaching retreats. To cover these videos' costs only with RU-vid advertising revenues in a reasonable time frame would not be possible based on our analytics analysis. Advertising revenues are not enough for us to keep making this quality of content. Therefore we plan to continue posting parts of our new content here on RU-vid, and the rest will stay subscriber-only premium content on our surf coaching platform (tutorials.barefootsurftravel.com/). We thank you for your suggestion as it gives us the chance to explain a bit more about why the majority of our content is exclusive to our subscribers. We also would like to thank everybody for watching, liking, and subscribing to our coaching platform. By subscribing, you are helping us create more quality surf tutorials. All the best!
