LEARN HOW TO TIE DYE in 30 SECONDS 

Rit is good for staining but will very very quickly fade out. I really just recommend using procion dyes if your goal is to have color that lasts

Leave for at least 8 hours and colors will be much deeper

I thought Rit fabric dye needed to be heated to 200 degrees.
