Extremely useful and easy to understand. I like how you keep those videos under 15-20minutes, it kinda make these big piece of software less intimidating!
Hey Monica I'm new here and thanks for ur videos i learnt a alot but here my doubt on uv mapping that's really bothering me what's the use of uv distortion I mean I know the use but should I use it cause it's almost useless.
UVs can be complicated. Why don't you start with my intro to UVs series so that it makes more sense: ru-vid.com/group/PLbxLlP-Vyt-9-XMm4O98EaYu1c7A8Pivi I hope that helps!
Hi Monica, I can't seem to have a solution for this. I really need your help, I would like to ask how do you bake multiple UV's from substance to Maya?
Every UV should have it's own shader. So if you have a head uvs, that should have one shader. The body can have another. It all depends how you set up your uvs, but substance painter will read the different shaders as different layers. I hope that helps!
Thank you for your reply@@AcademicPhoenixPlus, actually found solution. It's about UDIMs, not really knowledgeable about Maya. That's why I am having a hard time explaining the exact issue am having. Appreciate your response. I'll ask again if ever..
I've redone this multiple times around the 7:34 section and when I Stitch Together my entire UV for the handle shrinks to an unviewable size. No clue what I'm doing wrong.
hi, can you please make a tutorial on "3D Mouse" Modeling? For a model like The "Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming M100", I am curious to know how can we add "RGB" in any 3D model since this model is decent and has RGB, I thought something like this would ease my curiosity. I couldn't find any good/Decent tutorial on (any Model) 3D Mouse. or graphic card/ GPU modeling with "fans". Thank you in advance and your channel is Just Amazing.
Hi there, if you want to create textures for body, yes you will need to UV map the character/creature. Any geometry that you want to add texture to, you'll need to UV map. So it's an important step in the process!
