I would love to have something that has fundamental phrases like color, location, and how to describe common things. Examples: "The man is on the second floor" "The shop is in the white building" "Turn right after that street." "Do you want the square or the round one?" Just small, useful phrases that you can piece together into more detailed sentences.

I learned watching a Japanese youtuber that it is better to say matena when saying goodbye because soynara is more dramatic like telling your parents goodbye forever when you are actually going to be back in an hour. Matena is like saying see you later.
Even if not for sleeping, it'd be good for meditation since binaural beats are really nice for meditation and you could just chill to this. Chill music while language learning sounds pretty rad
It’s gonna be a little annoying listening to this while I sleep😅 but it’s super good at teaching you languages if you have a A4 paper or maybe a little notebook and a pencil to memorize it
This is great for learning - but it's the same 10 or 20 phrases repeated over and over, so It doesn't take long to learn them. I was expecting a lot more to get my teeth into.
This is great. I listen to it while doing house work and repeat the phrases and have already learned them all. To me memorizing them is the hardest part.
ありがとうございます。 I knew most of these but watching this helps hammer it in my brain. I stopped learning for a week because at night I second guess everything and my brain said I could never learn a new language. that’s really sad for me because as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to learn a new language. I thought it was super cool to know more than one and I wanted to be one of the only people in my family to know more than one language.
It is 2/5/19. I know only the weebiest of phrases. I’m going to watch every video on this channel until March 5 and comeback and tell you if I’ve learned anything.
I usually watch pod101 vids with ad blocker off so they can get some ad revenue, forgot to turn the ad blocker back on and woke up knowing a few more Japanese phrases but also that Udemy are having a sale on all their courses or how I could earn thousands selling on Amazon. Strange...
Dear creator, It is a very good video to learn Japanese phrases. I have a suggestion: Most of the time in the video you are using sound 'は (ha)' for 'wa' instead of 'わ (wa)'. Please correct if I am wrong. ありがとうございました!
If you plan to go to japan don't ever say sayonara to anyone. That basically means farewell basically goodbye for ever or like a sad farewell. Say ja ne or matane
joaninha star nah i tried doing it for french whilst I was learning at school it had no real impact, maybe thats just on me though and its really useful for you who knows
I tried it for French and for Maths (times tables), and neither times worked. It was just really difficult to sleep lol! I was really grumpy and tired in the morning.
joaninha star it basically helps cement the stuff you've recently learned into your brain. I don't think anyone has ever learnt something new whilst sleeping, unless it came to them in an elaborate dream.

I legit stayed up 1 hour just to study these words and then go to sleep with this on (was worth it i recommend to study these words before sleeping with this on)
How come they just say おはよう for good morning instead of おはようございます, but for good night they say oyasuminasai instead of oyasumi? (Edited)I know おはようございます and oyasuminasai is formal, I want to know why it doesn't stay consistent. Why am I saying good morning casually and good night formally? (I couldn't spell goodnight in Japanese because I couldn't find one of the letters)

There are 8 videos all with the same content...not sure if this is a mistake or on purpouse but it would be nice to have different types of phrases in the videos :)
