The tuning is B E A D F# B (two and half steps down from standard tuning...)

Great sound and almost there, how did he do it! I drop the low E string to D and get a pretty good sound on my 6 stringer.......worth a shot.......now for the VOICE!!...No chance

John Pearse heavy gauge strings are my favorite. They are made for C sharp tuning but if you drop it a whole step the tension is still alright. Not too floppy or tight
