This is a really interesting one I am curious to pick up and see how it evolves over time. Usually having the hardest part of a fight at the beginning of the fight leads to less than satisfying endings, so I'm curious how they manage to maintain tension throughout a course of a fight without making the first few turns overwhelming.

I'm a huge fan of TCGs, so this was right up my alley. I definitely understand what you're saying, and hadn't thought of it that way. I was looking at it kind of like the puzzle modes of TCG games where whatever was going to happen was going to happen, and you needed to figure out how to win from there. It felt satisfying to win in those circumstances, but if you don't frame it that way I can definitely see it being less than satisfying.
