Great video! I'm learning norwegian for fun on Duolingo and I think you are doing a good job explaining the basics in pronunciation, that Duolingo just skips.
Hi. I just wanted to say that, I began studying Norwegian on your channel three years ago, of course I used a lot of different resources after that, but before anything, I finished your course. Anyway, today I have found myself creating content for Turkish people to learn Norwegian. Thank you
I am very happy that I found your channel. You have excellent spoken and presentation skills. You speaks so clearly, friendly and very welcoming voice which makes it not just easy for beginners like me to learn, but also makes the learners more eager to learn and not loose interests in continuing the the lessons. Thank you so much for your generosity in helping people learn effectively the Norwegian language.
Thank you for the footnote on the short and long consonants. I don't think I've learned about it from any where else so that was super helpful! So were the silent letters explanations in the end. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for your videos! I was lucky enough to go to a Norwegian language camp every summer as a kid, unfortunately they do not offer that anymore for my children! I am excited to refresh my memory and teach my kids!
Awesome course man!! Thanks for doing it!! 1 observation: @8:51, ørken = desert, not "dessert", because "dessert"(EN) is "dessert"(NO). That 1 letter "s" changes everything. Please correct me if I'm wrong !!! Tusen takk!
Thank you so much!! I’m learning Norwegian since it has been one of the many languages I have tried that I’ve actually been able to hold on to a bit, so it’s really useful to have videos like these available! Takk!
Thank you! This is so accurate, simple and direct to the point. I am enjoying Norwegian thank sto you! I dont think it's a hard language for me to learn. I have backgroun in French and Mandarin so I was able to pick up the consonants and vowels right away. Im excited to be fluent in Norwegian and live in Norway someday!
Hey, just wanting to let you know that I’m appreciate for what you’re sharing, it helps me a lot on my journey learning Norwegian. You’re doing God work honestly, please keep it up!😊
Im struggling with Norwegian but i wanr to learn it so bad , i just found your page randomly and i love the way you are talking and explain, from today on I'll listen this videos in repeat and hopefully next time I'll let you a comment in Norwegian 😅 . Hilsen Alexander!
Thanks for posting these. Very helpful. I know this is four years old now, so perhaps you won't see this or are busier with more important things these days; however, if you ever find time to dive a bit deeper into what I think a lot of people may struggle with: the 'ng' pronunciation seems to be specific to Scandinavian languages and is VERY difficult to pronounce/comprehend. For example, "mange". I hear you say it and even hear my Swedish and Norwegian friends make this exact same sound occasionally when they speak English as well, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the sound myself. I may be asking you to explain something that will only come with practice though. If you DO think you can explain how this sound is made in more detail though, it would be much appreciated. Either way, thank you for the content.
Thank you very much, sir for your lesson. And I've had a question. Can someone work in Norway with only English? Please sir,let me know about this in short.
@@mostakahmedsimon1304 It shouldn't be an issue, but do make sure you know basics! I think to become a citizen or obtain a job, you must at least know A1 level Norwegian.
@@GarnetsWeb I heard a bit of that but now you let me know this. Thanks again. Yes,mate,I am trying to gain A1 level Norwegian. I can speak basic though.
Oo wow, I live in the south of the Netherlands and a lot of words in Norwegian are the same or almost the same as in our dialect. Can’t be difficult for me to learn Norwegian, it sounds kind of familiar already. Definitely gonna try and become familiar with some standard phrases.
How do you differentiate between words like ull and øl? Is it purely contextual, or is there a slightly different pronunciation to them that non native speakers might have trouble detecting?
I have always enjoyed hearing the Norwegian language. Now I wanted to learn this language, albeit on a simple level! You are truly a great teacher! Hilsener fra Tyrkia!
Is there anyone who can help me with some of my questions about traveling to Norway because I need to complete my studies there and then continue my life there so that I can help my family?❤❤❤
Very useful videos! ❤ M learning this language bcos of Ødegaard, who is our team member in Arsenal ❤ In the word, "rolig." Why didn't u pronounce the word "g?"
Tusen takk. one question though: I have come across some words with u that Norwegians spell like english oo in loop, e.g. in the words "du" and "nummeret". Can you please shed some light on this.
