@@EatSleepDreamEnglish your channel is my favourite one when it comes to learning accents. Its not boring whatsoever, its fun. I’m from Poland and i feel like at school we dont get to learn how to have a good british accent unfortunately. But we do learn british english. I feel like because of american movies and stuff i speak with a mix of both 😂 but Yorkshire accent is my favourite one, definietely. Ive learnt a lot from your channel as well as just from watching some docs, interviews stuff on youtube / netflix with people from there. I like to add british vocabulary in general like for example last time i said to my friend about having a wee and she had no idea what i was talking about haha. Have a great day!

They have made a song together and there is one video with both of them. Oh wow! Really? That's fascinating. It's possible that could be it. I guess we'd have to see if he used this pronunciation feature in his earlier videos when he was much younger.

@@EatSleepDreamEnglish I’m not an accent expert on any stretch of the imagination. My understanding there are four subgroups that make up the Northern Irish or the Ulster regional accent. They’re Ulster Scot, Ulster English, Belfast & Derry/Londonderry accents. My understanding of the Ulster English accent evolved from people who moved over from England to Ulster in the Ulster plantations from the mid 17th century onwards. From what I can hear my understanding of the Ulster English accent has heavy influences from several Northern English accents but particularly Cheshire & Lancashire area with an Ulster slant. The Ulster English would be a quite middle class Ulster accent in my opinion, famous people with this accent are Holly Hamilton on BBC sports, Patrick Kielty Christine Bleakley, Rory McIlory, Eamon Holmes, To name a few. People from England who immigrated to Ulster in the plantations where from predominately from Cheshire & Lancashire but they also came from Yorkshire, Devon and East Anglia & South East England but in smaller numbers. I live in a town 8 miles North of Belfast I would say I have the Ulster English accent with influences of the Belfast accent. I have taken a DNA test on Ancestry my ancestor are predominately from provinces of Ulster and Connaught in Ireland South West Scotland. I have confirmed by my paper records one of my 2x great grandfathers was from Harrogate in Yorkshire and his ancestors are from North Yorkshire and in around the Leeds area. I also have sizable amount of matches that match me whom ancestors are from the Lancashire area but I’m yet able to confirm what’s the connection to me are. Kind Regards
