Nicely done Mikey. I appreciate how well you brokedown the terminology and concepts. We can always learn a thing or two no matter how brief or how long we've enjoyed this passion. Thanks.
Thanks Will, Just get in contact when you are ready to have me asses your system and where you want to go and I can give you first steps that cost nothing ... :-)
LOL< Classic bro, I just looked him up ... DAMN !!! King Buzzo ! Trust me the bigger they get the more of a pain in the ass it is getting in your face all the time . I used to have hair to the middle of my back but I always had a pony tail, after a while I realized it was best when wet and swimming or whatever . but otherwise it was quite literally impossible to wear down as I was like cousin IT, it completely covered my face. So I cut ti ... I ought to show you guys the wicked 50's greaser cut I had at one point.. It was so cool, but you kinda have to be a rockabilly person and wear the whole 50s clothes.. But that would be me acting so that one went ... I was thinking of doing like an 80s cut but not sure how to really rock that one... I even had a skin at one point .. then when my hair grew out to like a half inch I bleached it platinum white ..lol funny shit looking back...
Point to point in the days of tubes and early transistor designs used "terminal strips" to bind and solder connections. Any terminals to ground would mount to the chassis.
Thank you very much, Mikey, it was very funny and I learned a lot of new things. The active crossover and amplifying after the signal is filtered is an excellent idea. But the active crossover should be a high quality device, right? And how about amps? Should they be matched somehow? And are there on the market amps specialized only on limited part of the frequencies? I saw in some of your videos three amps with a special tubes full of electronics. Are there full spectrum amplifiers? And how about speakers? Does it mean that in this case you can keep only a driver and an empty box, right? A very interesting solution, but maybe quite expensive, I guess... Anyway, thank you so much. I wish you all the best. Milan (a newbe in hi-fi and I love Kung-fu TV show)
I use congested to mean that the speakers are not adequately differentiating between all the different sounds on the recording. Is that the same as when audiophiles call something "muddy", or does muddy imply poor differentiation only in the midrange?
Thats interesting , its a little ambiguous though as it could be honestly crappy or honestly great.. I would use Accurate or Revealing , personally , But I think people would probably pick up what you were laying down..
Yes, absolutely, I sell them , Not up on the sire yet, but they are same cost from me or the company that makes them and with me , I'll consult and help for your personal rig. I can save you lots of time . Its only $500 and is made in USA , and its a very low noise piece.. Get in touch, my phone number is a few messages up
Let me be google for you ..lol isnt that the smart ass shit Millenials tell their parents when they ask things ..lol. Im busting ballz, I dont care... So Transient Response the way I use it means how quick is the system from zero to full tilt. Like some music has quick dynamic sounds in succession, Its the ability for your rig to make these sounds with no reverberation afterwards. Like no trails on your sound. This is very room dependent , but in a perfect room, the best rigs are extremely fast with impulse counds. Generally speaking tubes are slower and more liquid like honey, Solid state is much faster flowing like water.. its nearly instantaneous.. Hope this helps !
I think my Bose has a stark rolled off sound, boomy bass, and small dick syndrome. Whenever I listen to my Bose, I feel like both my stepmother and mother in-law are both bitch slapping me 😭 back and forth x2. Should I throw those out?
