....................................................................................................................
Mike has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, and from that first moment his love affair with music and the instrument began. Fresh out of school at the age of 16 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and completed a year-long Diploma course.
After finishing the ACM his life as a full time musician began, playing in numerous bands and touring up and down the country playing iconic venues such asThe Shepherds Bush Empire, The Astoria, The Underworld and London’s Jazz Café. He’s also been fortunate enough to support industry legends Paul Weller, Blondie and Katie Melua.
Mike’s session work has led to his working on a variety of projects - from performing with stars such as Ricky Wilson and Diana Vickers, to appearing in many TV shows and adverts. Mike loves being on stage performing, but is equally at home recording in a studio - where he has worked with Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Seal, Atomic Kitten), Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Shakira, Bloc Party), and Mike Chapman (Blondie, Suzi Quatro).

Thank you very much for sharing this video. I am a novice guitar player and 48 yrs old. Recently seperated after 20 yrs marriage and raising 3 kids. I recently decided to spend any amount of time necessary to become a great guitar player. I have a Yamaha Pacifica 112 and a small Crate Amp not much bigger than the amp you show in this video. I currently can play most chords but not well enough to atand up and play while singing. I would like to start from the beginning and learn theory, scales, etc... And with practice, hopefully become a good enough guitarist to be confident enough to play on stage live one day. I know most people started at young ages and I started singing as a young child but have only been playing guitar a few yrs but never took the time required to become any better than a garage strumming hack. Now with nothing but time on my hands since retiring and being single again, I plan on spending all my time learning how to become an expert level player.(single life in this era can kiss my ass so I wont be spending time online interviewing for a date). I hope your lessons can help me at the level I am playing today and then help me progress to reach my goal. If you have any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate any advice you will offer. Take care and tks again for what you do here. Tim Clark - Tomball, Texas p.s. i promise never to type another msg this freaking long. Sorry to all.

You're never to old buddy, just have fun playing and take it in stages, don't try doing anything all at once.

I have to ask because I've been following along with your brother but only have 6 lessons. Are there more or did he have to stop recording the lessons? Also do you have a video explaining the scales and notes all the way up the neck. You mentioned how you seperate the neck into sections and I would like to learn thst if possible. Take care. Tim

When you learned "Always on my mind" how did you do it? Through documented chords or tabs or figure out the voicing and chords yourself? If it was the latter could you talk about that process at some point?
@MikeBradleyofficial

It was listening to the song and doing it by ear. Check out a video I did called train your ears.
