I know that you may have faced some issues. But please, I love your content, I enjoy every single video of your artistic presentations, no one teaches languages like you. And you made me even love the Swedish language even more, please go on! I will always support you! :) Thanks for making these awesome work totally for free! (Sorry if there are some mistakes, I’m still learning! xD)
I need your help with an issue which hinders me a lot. I practise to read different blogs in Swedish to become better in it. A lot of words I read that I don't understand, the problem that I can't find any source to translate it to English. Is Google translate reliable in this situation? Please, I need help, if I found such source, I will be able to write Swedish easily in a matter of weeks.. Thanks in advance!
The words caro(l) and bianchi cannot be in someone’s name, and the unsuitable names must be changed - all big terms and color related terms (and also all nature / gemstone / flower related terms etc and special names) only reflect me!
Also, only I reflect big compIiments like the best etc - words such as helpful and informative etc should be used instead when referring to videos on language learning / other educational videos!
This kind of videos help a lot tho, and I’ve been learning Swedish and Dutch for over one month now - some of the terms should be changed tho, such as some of the pronouns (hon can only be used when referring to me, and honom can only be used when referring to one of my pure protectors aka the alphas, and dom can only be used when referring to us / me & my protectors and to items and nature elements etc) and, the words kvinna / tjej / flicka and Dam and other big terms and big compIiments etc only reflect me, while words like man or words that contain man / men etc only reflect my protectors, so new words must be created to refer to people! And, the verbs should have a different form for each person! The more words I’m learning, the more I’m thinking about it! And, I also noticed that so many words and rules are similar to the ones in Dutch and OId Dutch! Re pronunciation, I pronounce the sk / sj etc as a sh sound like the sh sound in English - it’s also used in some parts of Sweden!
Also, flowers (and trees) are pure and sacred living non-moving beings who belong in nature, and should never be plucked / _ed etc - so plucked flowers should never be shown on video, which also promotes the wrong action, and there are some wrong things, but plucking flowers is one of the worst actions, and flowers & trees should have always been protected from hum’ns!
Hey Erik, not sure if you'll read this but I just want to say how helpful your Swedish videos have been and that I appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Tack så mycket från Australien!
He explains the lessons in a very accessible and understandable way for everyone. And most importantly, he does it in a fascinating way. I'm just in love with his accent. I really hope that Eric will continue to be with us.
When you said the next lesson episode would come sooner I didn't expect to wait almost a year for it. You had us waiting for so long. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Kimmy Nava I remember you and I remember answering you. I'm sorry :/ My motivation went up and down and it took much longer than I wanted it to. I thank you for your patience and let's make it true this time that the next won't delay ;) Best wishes from me to you!
+Erik Edler, I hope your motivation never vanish, you are such a great teacher and I bet you are a great person too. Thanks again and best wishes for you as well
Another great video! As someone who is emigrating to Sweden in September I have been watching your videos religiously and found they help me greatly in learning Swedish. Excellent work Erik! :-)
Omg .. that slap! I like your videos, you put so much effort on them. I disable Adblock and click your ads to support you. You're a great teacher, keep it up!
Haha, that's a true fan! Thanks for your support! I don't care too much about the money, I'm just glad to see that so many enjoy the content and learn from it! Next video coming in February! Best of luck!
Swedish is the 5th language I've begun to study (About to attend university in Sweden) and I've seen a lot of different ways to approach language learning. Your videos make an amazing supplement to learning Swedish.
Love this ,I've been learning many useful Swedish word from your video I just passed nationell prove C and in the test , it has your vocabulary in that , very helpful . Tack så mycket
T hank you so much bro ! this is the best channel on youtube for learning Swedish ! you make it funny , interesting and show the beautiful culture , jag älskar det , så vacker
No. I'm the one that got to say thank you. Seriously, this channel helps me a lot - you help me a lot. So ... tack så mycket. :) Oh, and sorry for jumping into conclusions. I did that because a lot of channels with contents about languages are abandoned ... I thought this was another victim, and I'm happy to know I was wrong.
I am trying to learn good Swedish but its one of most difficult languages..Every Swedish seems has his own pronounciation of Words, which is so different from others. l can understand some people well and some l just be confused wondering what language they be speaking...Det är dock rolig att lyssna på svenskt musik..Tjejer i Sverige kan minsann sjunga med mjukt röst..Tack Erik jag älskar dig till döden..l love you to Death..Bra jobbat ..Håll det upp och fortsätta så--håll det enkelt..God välsigna dig att leva många år..Vi sess i himlen
Tack it was so interesting to learn Swedish with you ☺️☺️🇸🇪jag kommer från Täbriz i Iran.jag talar fyra språk: persiska ,turkiska ,engelska och lite pitta svenska.💐
Well organised thinking and yet intersetingly unpredictable. There are non like it online. I hardly leave nice comments in life. But I salute your creative courage. I have learnt so much. Speed up next video mate. Can't wait.
Hej Eric, du är häftigt! I learned a lot from your videos, you are a great teacher and entertaining. You are very helpful to my Swedish, I hope you make more videos with Swedes daily conversation. Thank you very Much, you're the man!
Tack så jättemycket:) also 19:45 for real 😮
Tack.
I'm glad you're "back". :-) Your previous lessons helped me a lot when I was in Stockholm recently. I am looking forward to seeing new lessons. I enjoy scenes that show something from Stockholm, it is a really beautiful city.
I've only been living in Sweden for 5 weeks and came with no knowledge of the language. I'm in overdrive trying to get it, but man it's tough. You're videos are among the best I've found, but it seems you stopped making them! Help a brother out, I need MOOOORE! But thanks so much for what you have produced already 🙏🤘🕺🏻
Thanks for everything Erik! You might have a lot to do lately, but don’t abandon us, as long as you can come back sometimes. Love these informative and also interesting, useful videos! Tack så mycket.
I'm so happy you're back! Your videos were my first and the biggest boost to start learning. You made Swedish more fascinating in my eyes. Hope you won't disappear so quickly :)
Hello Erik! I am Eliana from Brazil. I am loving to watch your videos! I feel how I am there! Thanks for teaching us the Swedish language! I am really learning swedish with you!
Hi..i am very satisfied with the videos. Very comprehensive, detailed and very informative meterial provided by you is so helpful for biggners.specially ur involvement in lessons love it.. Complements for u eirik
Gosh just gotta say to you that you’re so freaking helpful! Like literally in every single video of you, I learn so much! Thank you so much for that! ^^
I really enjoy this video - it is among your best. You are really quite talented. I hope that you will continue to produce these as you are able. In my view, your lessons are more informative (and entertaining) than any others I've seen on this topic. I returned from my second visit to Stockholm in June (where I ran the Stockholm marathon) and I actually used some of the information you have shared with us in these lessons. Also, some of your video footage of Stockholm inspired me to see for myself the sites your showed (e.g., the rocky bluff of Södermalm overlooking the city). Thanks for your contributions and please keep them coming!
Thanks Erik for the great content. Very helpful. Last time I was in Stockholm I spent the evening of the 21st June ( 2015) at Skinnarviksberget. Such a beautiful view of the city and a hearty celebration was had by all :)
Yeah, for English speakers it should come naturally. I have seen that movie. I saw that movie last week. You should be able to find many examples and rules online!
Hej Erik! I live in the northwestern US. Your productions are great because they are so unique, fun, and helpful. I especially enjoy the glimpse into current, common Swedish life and language. Keep it up! Did I mention that your videos are unique? Heh heh! =) Well, they are! Gotta love em!
I was wondering if you knew any swedish songs , movies or TV shows that would help us with understanding swedish better. Thank you for being such a help to us all. I was in sweden from January to March and I used so many of the words I learned from your videos. Tack för allt
I'm glad to help, well done that you've put what you've learned in practice! Songs and movies are hard to understand in other languages but you can still learn from them. Kent and Veronica Maggio are artists I sometimes listen to who sing in Swedish. My French friend liked the series "Äkta människor" (real humans). A classic Swedish comedy movie is "Jönssonligan".
