I have been studying this for over 10 years. I have read many books, talked to many people but never thought of RU-vid as a legitimate tool (in this regard). You have absolutely surpassed any and all resources I have EVER found on this subject. This was clear, articulate, comprehensive, consistent and accurate. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort. I really have learned (and more importantly, retained) more than I have in all the years I've been studying. Thank you so much!!! (P.S. - I would have liked to have had some mention of those decks that switch Justice/Strength and how that impacts the cards AND it would be great to have a (perhaps clearer) understanding of negative and/or reversed cards). @@user-rs5jz5bd2r I don't really get your question. Ben explained the card quite in details: The card means delay that allows you to see things from another persopective, otherwise, making a little sacrifice in order to move on.

I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. I haven't touched my cards in over 20 years. Since then, I have developed a neurological condition that effects my memory. At 40, to not be able to remember your wedding, when your kids birthdays are.. Your videos have gotten the wheels turning. Ben, thank you so much for doing these videos part 1 and 2. I took classes many years ago with a great teacher and my notes from her are spot on with you! I have lost track of her but I will include some of your notes with hers and be able to give a meaningful and truthful reading. I just received black and white tarot cards, that encourage coloring them according to the colors in their attached book. So now I can relate on both levels. Again, thank you!

All I have to say is sorry for being late to the party and Oh My God. I’ve always felt empathetic, but never acted on it. About 3 weeks ago I noticed Tarot readers kept showing up in my RU-vid feed. Thank you so, so much for these videos. I've dipped into Tarot several times, but I've found that I want to explore it more, and the task of learning all of these is overwhelming! This video has provided me with new outlooks on some of them, and a concrete understanding for others. While there may be discrepancies in some, I can take the meanings here and bend them to the deck's purpose in time. Thank you for going slowly, and tying some of the themes of the over arching motifs together, it's really solidified my admiration for the cards.
Just watched both videos and I've learned more on this than I have managed to find anywhere else. I just bought the rider deck. I thought it would make sense to buy the original and get a feel for that like you said and then I can build my own intuitive reflections of the cards with other decs. I've been interested in Tarot for a long time, but have always found it daunting to try to learn the cards' meanings. I have several books that I've purchased over the years with great intent, only to look at the number of pages and amount of text to again be overwhelmed by the amount of information. I'm not opposed to work, but was looking for a baseline in books that wanted to give me the entire history. Your videos have provided that baseline, and the notes I've made while watching your videos will give me what I need to be able to move on to the next step, which is practicing in order to commit to memory, and then starting to read the books for further insight. Thank you very much for openly posting this, and allowing all to learn/enjoy.

I had to watch these a couple times. It's best to have your cards and go along and to also take notes, in my opinion. That way I have reference I can look back on. It does take time, but I really want to learn them. :)
