Hey ChessGeek, I had a video suggestion for you - how about a breakdown of the Modern Defense in chess? It would be great to see you explore different variations and ideas within the opening, including the possibility of transposing to the Hyper Accelerated Pectrodactyl. To make the video more engaging, you could showcase some aggressive and solid playing styles that work well in the Modern Defense. Additionally, it would be helpful to discuss strategies for countering the Three Pawns Attack and Four Pawns Attack, as well as how to handle tricky bishop moves such as Bf4. Overall, I think this video would be a fantastic resource for anyone looking to improve their game and add some new openings to their repertoire. I'm sure your viewers would love to see you cover the specific ideas of the Hyper Accelerated Pectrodactyl while maintaining a personal feel to the video. Thanks for considering my suggestion, and keep up the great work, oh and it’s against e4

Hey I was just wondering if you will make an opening playlist for the white side. Also I am stuck between 800-1000. Can't really understand what I need to improve on. Can you suggest me what to do? Also for white ik Vienna but not everyone replies with e5 so can you suggest some setup based opening for my level?

Well, for one, I believe that you should focus on opening only when you don't blunder pieces in one move. That being said, I recommend going with The Panov attack against Caro or the normal exchange, because most people at your level won't know that the way to develop the Light squared bishop for black is to go g6 , and intentionally double your own pawns with black. Against the Sicilian, keep it simple with the reverse DRAGON, aka the Kings Indian attack. Against the Scandi, go de5, Nf3, and develop. Now, against the French, I recommend going for the Schlecter, with the light-squared bishop to d3 after d5. Against the Pirc, go with the classical, followed by the interesting 5.bishop e3!?, Qd2 etc. Your choice is against e5. Also, look at your games and I will guarantee you lost 90% of the games due to tactics. Grab a tactics book (Download it online but beware it's illegal), and after going through a tactics book, I guarantee, you will become stronger. I denied that I lost games due to tactics, but if I never blundered tactics, I would be 2000 Elo. I believe you have enough positional chess content on RU-vid. So, be disciplined, go through tactics, pretend to explain opening lines and make sure you have easy plans in the middlegame, and you should improve tremendously. If all else fails, take a break and see the board with new eyes. This should get you to 1700 - 1800 chess com rapid.
