In this tutorial I am teaching and breaking down the infamous moonwalk! Michael Jackson made it famous and I really think this move should be passed on as a foundational move. Plus it's so popular that it seems new dancers always want to learn this first. It is a great foundational moves for other advanced glides.

When doing this, if your listening to music don't do it with fast up beat music, cause then you'll be going way too fast while practicing and skip a few steps like, being as high as possible I tried this with a good beat, slow but not too slow and I got it better than when I was listening to fast music. I don't know if i make sense. lol

sorry if im late af but the secret is that when doing the spike foot you have to keep it in positon and dont move it until the other foot has reach behind of your spike foot, and when sliding, make sure its your WHOLE foot that is sliding, not jus the tip. i firgued this out and i instantly was able to do it

So with the foot your gliding with does that foot touch the ground ?? Or does it hover over the ground untill you need to switch your foot to redo the glide?
