I remember learning this same trick from you in one of your previous videos and trust me, it gets anyone all the time, in fact when my cousin (who’s a heckler) tried to expose me, I used the gamblers cop and she just couldn’t notice and got fooled, such an amazing trick, thanks Alex! Don't know about the Dane Cook look, but i do think you kind of give off a cooler old school Oliver Platt vibe.

Nice trick. About your point of them wanting to take a card from the bottom of the deck, there is something you did, but didn't point out. You rest your index finger across the top of cards at the bottom of the fan. To pick one of those cards, the victim (some prefer "spectator") literally has to move your finger out of the way to reach those cards. For those who still worry. In the ultra rare case they really go for those cards at the bottom, a alternative handling could be this: Say: "Here, let me help you." and close the cards. Shift the the cards forward in your hand, while retaining the packet at the bottom. Fan the cards again, this time holding the cards by the rear end. The victim can now easily reach any card they want. Well, err.., except for the packet cupped in your hand. Descriptions, can sometimes be hard to get, just act it out. It's easy. Don't start with this, keep it as plan B. The justification for you fumbling with those cards is to "help" them.

I told a guy to pick a card and did not tell him to cut to the middle. He cut to the bottom and saw the 5. I'll never make that mistake again.
