It is interesting how she says she wasnt allowed to say the english word "ok" as if in Germany they despised english so much and only spoke it because they had to.
Hello from Canada. I speak English, Korean and passable Spanish and Japanese. I fell in love with the German language after watching the movie Das Boot. Want to learn and master German. Excellent video. Danke
I'm german and I think "Hallo" is now more common than "Guten Tag" etc. so it's not only used by friends. Mostly in every store you're shopping seller/employees will say "Hello."
Alisa, Thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. You have a special talent to have fun teaching a tough language. Keep up your great work...We dummies need help...Bill
but just a few recomendations, ¿Can you pleaseeeeee just repaeat it a little more the words? because if you say it quickly it´s harder to understand :).
Your teaching method is very good, your mischievous, humorous all in all. There is a similarity with the English language It doesn't look that hard. Thanks.
Thank you for your help! I used some of your videos to quickly prepare for my recent trip to Germany!! I was even mistaken as a native German speaker...
It's a bit different from what I've learned in Kontakte Deutsch book. Like, "you're welcome" is "bitte schoen" not "gern geschehen", but sometimes i find the word "gern" to reply "danke" too, so i guess it's not a problem. Your video is awesome, pretty clear and educative.
Entschuldigung is a noun. It can also be independently for saying "Sorry" or "Excuse me". [Sich] entschuldigen is the respective verb and means "to apologize", for example: Ich entschuldige mich bei ihr, weil ich ihr versehentlich auf den Fuß trat I apologized to her because I accidently tread on her foot
I really really like your style of teaching, like a frd's talk, you teach us the phrases or words by explaining the situation and your life in Germany~. Go ahead~ 😉😉😉
hallo! ich habe 2 fragen: 1) can "kein Problem" also be used to express "i don't care" negatively ? 2) which one is right, "ich brauchte" or "ich brauche?"
[...] es sehr leicht wird mit...* [...] auf weitere Lektionen...* ("weitere" is simply a better fitting word in this case but it's not a mistake to use andere) *weitere = further (lessons)
Your whole vibe is awesome... thanks for a very entertaining lesson! Danke schol für die Hilfe! I'm coming to Germany at the end of May for my very first visit and I've been working on getting my Schüldeutsch up to speed. New subscriber too.
Hello there! Thank you for this helpful video. By the way, I hear a lot of people keep on talking about Rocelangue Method (do a google search), but I'm not sure if it's good. Have you tried using this how to speak foreign language tutorial called Rocelangue Method? I have heard several great things about it.
My Tochter just started Deutsch at school zu lernen. She muss see dieses video! p.s. I'm ein bisschen confused jetzt of diese Mischung of English und Deutsch languages. Ich hope, Sie can verstehen this ;)
+Assassinriflez (PC GAMES) It was only a joke, of cause ;-) I did it because 1) the girl (Alisa) in the video speaks both languages 2) the grammar of the two languages is near the same. Ich habe Deutsch in die Schule gelernt... 20 years ago, so now I can hardly speak German but still understand it.
+aszlan96 hmmm... "denglish". I should know, thanx! It helps me much when I walk along the street or buy smth. in Germany and Austria, cause nobody is confused with my "denglish" except a group of schoolboys (es war im kleinen Dorf unter Stuttgart) and one not-very-young lady at cash desk (in Frankfurt Flughafen) ;-)
I have a question. At the time 6:51 " Entschuldigung Sie, wie viel Uhr ist es?" Why do you add the "Sie". Does it still make sense to remove that from the sentence to make: " Entschuldigung, wie viel Uhr ist es?" Thanks
There are two correct ways of saying: 1. "Entschuldigen Sie, wie viel Uhr ist es?" -> "Entschuldigen Sie" is the imperative form of the verb "entschuldigen" which is used in formal situations, e.g. when adressing a stranger on the street. 2. "Entschuldigung, wie viel Uhr ist es? -> Here the noun "Entschuldigung" ("Sorry") is used.
