Thanks for your explanations and what you give us Your guitar has a beautiful sound. What wood ? And what strings and gauge ? Thanks

You are very welcome Jackoo972! The soundboard is made form Sitka Spruce with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. I use Elixir strings 80/20 bronze 12 gauge. Glad you like the sound. This make of Maton guitar was discontinued some time ago, over 10 years now I think.

Thank you for this. I'm an intermediate level player and using DADGAD purely in folky terms. Really nice to take these blues progressions somewhere different. Excellent tuition.

This video is so much fun -- I'm really having a good time practicing what you've shared and trying to improvise off it. Simple and blue. Thank you!

@bettetkorber2149, you are very welcome! Great working on improvising with the riffs as opposed to just learning them :)

Great harmonics in DADGAD. 5 inverted 5ths and one 5th. It's common to have ringing strings while playing notes. I play with the fat side of a pick. I played open D for several years. DADGAD is better at F#-G than open D is.

Glad you liked the video @tangobayus! I also use the fat/round side of the pick when using a plectrum. I prefer the tone I get :)
