This is so masterful. Can you talk for a moment about any prep work and any tips/tricks for getting the hanging threads in the hole in the fabric to expose their little loops/holes you used as a scaffold to sew into? This is top tier stuff
I never saw it get fixed! Watched them thread the needle, begin & then nothing! Even as a “short” video, it should’ve shown more of the actual fix stitching.
God Bless you, this is so useful. I had been looking for this and didn't even know it. Thank you! I have a winter had that I never even used it yet that needs this done. I thought I was going to have to learn knitting but no! much simpler solution! Yay

Tie off the end as close as possible and sew it back through to hide the knot. I don’t know if doing it that way is professional or proper but for me it gets the job done.
It would have been so nice to have seen how she started it. I'm a beginner and I have no idea how she started it. Oh well, I'll find another video that shows it from the start.
This is the Outside of the fabric. At the very Start of the Video, notice the thread has a knot. A "V" is made at at this end. Then two threads at each side slightly pulled together. At the End push needle through and tie off on the inside of the fabric. If there's any puckering, it's recommended to massage the fabric flat.
