Thank you for taking the time to show & teach the way you do.. I have story to tell you I will try to get it covered as short as possible... l am from Michigan by the way, my wife & I were childhood sweethearts she was 13 & I was 15 when we started seeing each other in mid 70's. We moved to Ca in 78 after about 1 1/2 yrs we split up. She went her way me I joined the US Navy becoming a Submarine Sailor.. l met a young woman who I moved in with she got pregnant with our daughter Amber Rae.. I was lucky enough to be in Port when she went into Labor. They made her walk around awhile because she was not yet ready. Well I got kicked out because of a few things happening BP was high then low.. the next morin 6hrs later they finally told me about my daughter was on the small side & had blood transfusion because of no platelets. They let me see brinda and we waited for them to bring Amber up to Brenda & me. While I was waiting for them she got sick, black vomit. The next thing I knew exploratory surgery... l was 22 she had just turned 21.. 23days later she had passed away & I was lost I brought my daughter from San Diego to Mi to my Mom. I had Amber during this time I was going to learn to play Guitar and play her music...... l never did that was Jan 83... l finished my time in Navy moved up state NY to see her family for just over a yr. Then I moved to Mi, then Co.. Got married had a son moved back to Mi divorced and had know Idea what to do.. That is when My childhood sweetheart got ahold of me on a T-Day we have been together every scene 90. Things were going well for us my Job as Maintenance Supervisor had been helping us move ahead. In 2007 I was in a Motorcycle accident I was beaten up inside bad 23 broken, stress fractures, compression fractures and many other things. They put me in a Induced Coma for aprox 1 1/2mo. Within a wk I had my wife take the me to music story & bought a Guitar finally. . I couldn't hardly even talk because of the trek ventilator I guess it is called. Anyway I didn't take lesson I tried to go back to work about 9mo scene the accident. I last 5wks & I knew I couldn't do my job anymore. I have picked up Guitar now & then to try and teach myself couldn't do it. I finally started fb a few yrs back & I look up some of the people on U-tube.. But then I met you and I am glad I did.. l don't want to put names down but my sister-in-law BF was in music business with Black Crowes. I had been to many of there Concerts be4 my accident last one was in Co at Red Rocks.. l flew out to met them there back stage all access pass every time I would meet them at other venues as well was asked at on time to work for him being assigned. Road manager but turned it down. Anyway Ur Teaching " Talks to Angels " gave me inspiration to learn again. . I have most of down not good but I am getting there, I didn't mention that I am permanently disabled. I have TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury ) as well. . Thank you very much for you helped me so much because you take the time to teach. .. l don't think I could have done it without finding you its been a long 14yrs I must say.. Thank you

keep up the amazing work.. free youtube song lessons have made this amazing community where anyone with a guitar and a computer or cell phone you can in a few years learn enough to play in a band or solo.. which makes learning to play the guitar something with a buy in as low as finding one to play.. i quit playing over a decade becuz not progressing made it just so easy to hit a learning wall... i bought a guitar to just see what i could remember during the pandemic... and its amazing how now a days the hardest part of learning is simply choosing what songs. the free lesson teachers for real make peoples lifes better.. thank u

Totally agree. Our Angela is a true gem, isn't she? Her instruction has inspired and pushed me to a higher level. Her common reminder that "you can't play fast what you can't play slow" sounds very basic, but it has actually reshaped my entire approach to learning the guitar. Wonderful instructor all the way! :-)

I leave one of mine in that tuning, and just put a capo on for standard tuning. Less tension on the strings, makes it easier for me to play with the arthritis in my hands. Take care of yourself and your family. From Charlie in the States.
