Excited to offer a way to learn all your scales and modes. I hope this helps you learn. If you would like to download my vocal warm up tracks, please click here: solfasinger.com/VocalWarmups
This is perfect ! I know the theory of scales but singing them is rather difficult. This helps a great deal. I am kind of glad that music school puts me through this even though I am a drummer. It just makes me more professional during songwriting and while singing instrumental parts which happens more often than you would think :D Thanks a lot Roger and keep up your very helpful work !
Thank you so much for providing this! Although I've been singing for years, I never studied voice or theory. Your videos are really helping me to learn the language of music and the importance of taking care of my instrument. THANK YOU!
Sorry about this 007 More. I made this video to help a class that I teach at the university where students are learning to sing and hear different types of scales. It isn't for everybody, but could be useful to some. Almost all music is based on one of these scales or modes (pop music to classical). In most popular music students generally hear notes to one or two of these scales, by learning how to sing and hear the difference it helps put a song in context to help tuning or to sing intervalic jumps accurately. Hope this helps explain a little. Have a nice day!
