This is an intro video to the courses I will start doing to learn Indonesian! Please leave a comment below of specific things you want me to go over and I will add them in the videos! Thank you!
I watched a movie with Indonesian subtitles and realized that when I read each word in an Portuguese way, the sound was pretty much the same. Now I'm really excited to study Indonesian.
Haha why there are so many ppl sayin it's kinda similar to Portuguese, I mean.. really!?! I only know some indo words that similar to Portuguese like bangku (banco), meja (mesa), keju (quejo), bendera (bandeira), boneka (boneca), etc.
@@sippintea1513 The language is not similar, but the way of reading is similar. I practically don't need to learn a specific sound to read. We use the same alphabet and the words are read in the same way as if I were reading a Portuguese word. You got it?
I'm a Filipino, And this is my first day learning this, wish me luck *this is not good, i'm learning too much that i'm starting to forget my own language *update, I think i can survive in Indonesia, lol
Seriosly,no i dont want to read about a 10 chapter 81 pages book thats supposed to be for high schoolers about A random town that i dont even know it existed
Yeah, true. The ironic thing is, the reason were the same as people who learns english and use english as main language. Either is wrong grammar or wrong use of punctuation.
Thats true I literally have to ask one of my siblings of what like some of the words mean and they spoke it in english and i understood right aWAY- lmao
I bet most comment and ppl watched this is from Indonesia itself that doesn't need to learn it anymore -,- kita nonton hanya sebagai hiburan dan karena penasaran cara bule ngajar bahasa :D
cuman ngebenerin setau aku aj ya, klo udh pakai "Indonesian" gaush pake "people" lgi krna indonesian aj udh menyatakan org indonesia kecuali "Indonesia" bru ditmbahin people, and then kalimat selanjutny maybe like "so this is how to learn Indonesia language" yeah cmiiw
Im a filipino and i am trying to learn this language to communicate with my indonesian cousins and friends, they dont really understand my language so i am here to learn. Salamat kung may natutunan ako. [Translation: thank you if i learned something]
hal tersulit bagi orang luar yg belajar bahasa indo itu biasanya nyebut huruf "R", soalnya org indo kalo ngomong "R", lidahnya bener2 harus di roling xD
Just want to say that my teacher in college said that Q in Indonesian pronounced "kyu" rather than "key". Mrs. Mascahaya is a Bachelorette in Indonesian literature and a Master of Sociology (CMIIW). Teaching at Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Sumatera Utara.🙏🏻
She probably got it from her lengthy past education and got the accent mixed with other foreign languages.. in Indonesia, we pronounce Q as 'Key'.. And that's what has been taught since the elementary school level.. Hope it clarifies 😊
@@mimimada734 i agree with u.. since child, i just know how sound alfabet Q is Key... not Qyu.. I sound Qyu when i play remi card for 99 by saying Qyu Qyu.... 😁😁
I'm from the Philippines, since alot of my indo friends convince me to speak/learn Indonesian, so I'm here to watch some bahasa indo learning language to start learning , one day as I finishing my studies, I hope I can visit the Indonesia one day❤😄 indo language is sooo beautiful and alot of similar words with us since we are austronesians hehe Mahal kayong lahat^^
Hey everyone! What if I start posting videos of me in my real life day-to-day activities while speaking indonesian?? would that help? would you guys like that? Let me know :)
Me as an Indonesian admitted that my native language is easy. But when it comes to Indonesian literature exams, I'm 100000% sure you will struggling a lot. That's what I feel rn :)
Personally, I think this video was great, how many people wanna know and learn about Bahasa Indonesia? There's a lot outside. And thank you very much for the tutor who representing this language to the world. So the people can more know about Bahasa Indonesia. The pathetic thing is (and I am ashamed about it too) that many Indonesian (not most). people who left comment here, not to support her or at least say thanks for her. But, just commenting about her appeal and left some like uneducated person who does exist. Pls people, wake up
I'm Indonesian, but I still don't know why did I watch this til the end lol. So, I decided to watch the other videos and then I know why I watched the whole video, because I love her for teaching my country's language. Thank you, Lynsie! Now you have another new subscriber!
English, is practically easier honestly. It is kinda easier when youre typing or writing english stuff. Coming from an indonesian. Most indonesians doesn't talk formal language. Our language is slang, formal, and multiple ethnic languages fused into one casual, everyday-language.
I know people in the comments are saying they're Indonesian and joking abt it, but youre so cool and pretty! And your pronounciation is on point thanks for making this
@@abenas40 no it is not.basically we prounounced alphabets same as american or the Uk I guess because like Indonesian pronounced C is che' but we prounounced it Just like normal English C even tho for Malay language. And the K we prounounced it K too.not ka.so it's different.hope this will clear u enough.btw Salam Dari Malaysia ya.asik juga bunyi huruf ABC Dari Indonesia .lain gitu ama Malaysia punya
You've lived in Indonesia for about 18 months, I bet you already speak bahasa Indonesia fluently.., mostly foreign people who lived in Indonesia.. they can speak bahasa Indonesia in one year. And Lindsay.. thank you so much to introduce bahasa indonesia to the world (even though bahasa Indonesia rarely use for International conversation) I really appreciate your effort making this video. Being able to speak foreign language and teaching foreign language is 2 different thing. Keep up your good work.. Terima kasih banyak ^^
@@yourz4ne gini bro , soalnya kalo misalnya orang luar taroh di judul ato gambar yang berhubungan Indonesia pasti kebanyakan orang indo yang nonton kebanding orang luar nya
I started learning Bahasa Indonesia in Duolingo, and I realized that this tutorial actually helped me. Because of this, I can now speak Bahasa Indonesia correctly, but I need to memorized the Indonesian Alphabet first. Thanks for this tutorial!!!❤
