Thank you for doing a really great video. . I have had my sdx for some time but not used it since the sample that was given with the machine mainly because I had no confidence and put it back into the box. Now I recently started again but was struggling how to use it. You have helped a lot explaining what all the icons meant and in a clear to understand way. You have given me the confidence I needed. The fact you did each part yourself to show us each step was brilliant. Some just whizz through and hard to follow. I think it is the best for beginners I have seen. Thank you again. Look forward to seeing more videos from you x
Honestly...You have the Best Learning on this Machine that I have ever seen...Also just an idea...Due to you're Professionalism on the way you show different products...I was so in tune with what you were showing here that at parts the background music was taking over me followung what you were saying...in trying to absorb your words. I was also multitasking what song was playing...I'de rather hear you with nothing in the background as you were the 1'st out if many I have followed that got my Ultumate attention...I'de listen to you all day...Thanks so much...I meant no ill feelings here but Trying to focus on you soley...I had to do playbacks as my concentration went elsewhere...I am subscribed...& it is 3:17 am here in pa. & guess what...I'm going to watch more of your Tutorials..as I AM HOOKED!!!...Thank you for giving so much time on here to show us different crafts...I'm going to see if you have anything on Rinestones...T-Shirt iron on s...Engraving...cutting Balsa & foam...etc...Definately Imoressed..Especially how it cuts Fabric
Thank you for watching the video and for providing feedback. Sorry you found the music to be a distraction. We will keep that in mind for future video recordings. Thanks for learning with us!
Thanks for watching. Good luck in your projects! If you would like to learn more about your ScanNCut check out our other videos www.qualitysewing.com/sewing-classes/scan-and-cut.html
Great video. Please do more on fabric cutting and particularly how to transfer your pattern to fabric before cutting. It seems this would be very good for quilting and appliqué but I’m not sure how to transfer the pattern into the machine if it is not a scannable picture
Thank you for your feedback. Are you wanting more information on tracing a pattern onto fabric to have your ScanNCut cut out the pattern? If you can provide a bit more information on what you would like to learn that will help us make a video of what you are looking to do. Thanks!
Do you have a video on Canvas Workspace as good as this one?. It was so clear, calm and well done. I put a sewing pattern onto CW but then when I brought it onto my SDX325 machine screen, it was all on top of each other even though on DW, I had them separated .Not sure how to fix that?
We are happy to hear our videos have helped you learn your ScanNCut. You can purchase additional design cards for your machine. Here are a few options www.qualitysewing.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=scanncut+collection
@@deeruiz6079 You can go to www.QualitySewing.com then in the search bar type in ScanNCut Collections and it will show you all the various cards you can purchase to add designs to your machine.
Trying to send scanned designs to my Lap top to make it an applique and then apply blanket stitches. But, issues when getting scan n cut machine to communicate with my computer.
You will need to work in canvas workspace to transfer designs between the two devices. The other option would be to save the file to a USB stick to transfer back and forth.
So does this machine have the capabilities of cutting objects from computer pictures that you pull off of the Internet or that you design yourself on your tablet can you connect it to Rhinestone template software that sort of thing? Basically does it have the capabilities of cutting Rhinestone templates is the real question?
The SNC works with line data like an SVG. So if you have your artwork in that format you are good. It also can scan a printed image. It does work best with simple shapes vs something like a photograph of a person.
We would be happy to help you. You can bring your mat and machine into one of our local stores or call a member of our online team 1-800-687-5175 and we would be happy to assist you over the phone.
