Hi. I'm from Türkiye and came across this by accident. It's a wonderful endevour that you're trying to teach our language to those who wish to learn. I just wanted to say, I noticed you used the word "karı" for Maria, it's totally okay that you did, but what you might not know is that the word "karı" (=wife) is usually used in a rude manner in our language. Not necessarily, but almost all the time it implies that the women is seen below her husband in their marriage, and is generally seen as a rude way to refer to married women nowadays. Most would prefer if you used the word "eş" (=spouse). It's more polite that way. If/when another man is talking about one's wife and they use the word "karı", especially in a formal setting, it could cause problems. Thanks again for doing this.
