this was really well done Ricardo! I related so hard with bootcamps making cookie cutter portfolios. I struggled with this the most after graduation and am now tailoring my portfolio to make it more me. Thank you for this!

Video idea! UX/UI acronyms commonly used in the workplace. I'm a design student and have only had one of our professors lightly touch on this. I know these are skills we'll pick up on the job, but would be nice to go in with a deeper understanding of the lingo ahead of time. Love your videos so much! It's a lot of work, I'm sure, and very appreciated! Keep it up, you rock!

Thank you; this was so helpful! I’m interested in going back to school, but I just finished my doctoral program, and I’m maxed out on loans 😩. In your opinion, would something like the design lab academy + coursera courses be enough? (I do online instructional design/ed tech right now). Also, do YOU offer any coaching? Thank you!!

I love your videos from the time I start learning UI UX design I'm watching you. I have one question so recently I completed an online certificate in UI UX. It's been almost two months since I've regularly applied for internships but have not gotten any responses and it's overwhelming now. Is it normal to have this much waiting time to get the first internship?

Ricardo, bro thanks a lot for your knowledge sharing and insights. I wanted to ask you regarding CSS/programming languages and coding part from the context of working as UX designer as compared to a person who is working as software developer. So basically how do you differ the understand, application of these in real life work scenario. I am asking in the capacity of a non tech guy to understand how important for me is to command on the same to become a successful ux designer

Maybe a bit of a hot take but given the way the market now is I feel like advice about getting hired in UX before like 2021-ish is pretty irrelevant and almost useless.

4:28 Well, that's just too expensive. The prices of this academy. Would I have gone there if I was just a broke student who could barely find food, and was looking to improve himself to get a good deal? When I have some money, I think I will buy food first and then I will buy these courses. $400 is a crazy amount for me. Yes, I am poor and I am not proud of it. sorry but , Free platforms will do the trick.
