lol, now you have half a mil people that can't tell the difference between visual studio and visual basic, and confuse an IDE with a programming language, nice job
Do yourself a favor, start with VB, add C#, Python, Java and JavaScript to your skill set. Nonetheless, VB is a great language, I have written great web applications with it.
Can you compile to a .exe? I am fluent in VB6 but no longer have a copy and am finding its quite expensive to obtain a second hand copy through ebay. Wondering if vs community will be a more practical solution for a very simple project i need to work.
what type of project do you think would show a potential employer that i can do visual basic? I want to learn , and work in the programming field. Also, thanks for the video. You have a pleasing sounding voice which is nice when i need to understand what I'm learning.
presentation is good but it lacks the essence of learning visual basic as a programming language. this looks like a walk through to visual studio using vb
HI, if Textbox1 * Textbox2=Textbox3 then textbox3 answer frist digit on label1,answer second digit on label2, on vb. net plz help me??? i m waiting your ans. plz send this method coding
Very very nice video, but when i click the calculate button, the complier did not add the data of text field 1 and text field 2. the complier together the data of both text fields and display it on the text field 3. the data type of the output of the any text field data is always in string data type. therefore the complier together the data of text field 1 and text field 2. in this situation first we convert the both text field data in integer data type. then we can add the data of both text field. and then for the display the result in text field 3 we convert again the result in string data type. and then we can put the result in text field 3...... This is a lot of code for a simple calculation. how you did it, in only one line code. you just type this " textBox3 = val(textBox1.text) + val(textBox3.text)". and you can easily get the result how is it possible.....?
The val function transforms to an integer and then the + adds the values. The reason that line of code won’t work is because you need to set the result to the text value of a text box. E.x. textBox3.Text =
