I used Vocalign Ultra for a good while and found that it whilst it was generally useful, sometimes it produced results that were pretty bad (digital artefacts and warbling etc). I was hoping that there would be an improvement in this upgrade but the results are sometimes worse! I'm currently working on a project with a great vocalist who has quite a gravelly rock voice (think Paul Rodgers, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker etc) and the algorithm on VocAlign just can not handle it. Trying to align and RePitch a vocal performance which is already close to the original is very hit and miss. I would say that around a third of the results are so bad as to be unusable. I can use Melodyne to do the work which is flawless but it's time consuming. The whole point of Vocalign is to save time. I have raised a ticket with SynchroArts giving examples of this and am awaiting a response but am so far very disappointed given the cost of the upgrade
I'm having issues with a punk singer as well. Melodyne is the same and always has been. t's so rare that I have totally clean singers in my booth, so I have a ton of workarounds for Melodyne, Autotune, and Vocalign. Hopefully one day all these programs will be easier to use with hairy voices and save me a load of time.
Thanx for this. An honest assessment and not just a fanboy comment. I was about to buy Vocalign 6, but luckily tried the demo while on the road on my M1 macbook. I opened it, and nothing.. it was blank at first. Then after restarting and re installing, i got it to show, but no groups, just one capture button and couldn't hear it back. Absolutely horrible experience. So, i am happy to hear that on top of that the results are not even usable a substantial amount of the time. Thank you for you review. Guess ill just keep working hard, and getting good results, instead of "easy and fast" and while compromising the results. 🫡 Kinda embarrassing that in 2024 were at M3 chips, and these frauds wants people to compromize their whole DAW and open it in Rosetta, to get the pluing to even run. 😂
Hello, I see you've left this comment across a lot of our socials so sorry for repeating the same response to you. Essentially, Logic Pro uses AU plugins, and ARA is not natively supported. Currently, ARA in Logic Pro only functions on Apple Silicon Macs running in Rosetta 2 mode.
An option to delete the cache of the current project would be helpful for starters. To just be able to Capture things again, when it doesn't work. Yes, I know I can delete in the finder.
Im looking for a tool that can align KIDS voices to Adult Male or female audios... most of the time the kids will be speaking slower (even though the line is the same) can I use this tool to have the kids speak at the same rate as the adult versions of the same audio track? will there be any artifacts?
Hello! VocAlign and Revoice Pro’s Match process should be able to handle this - success will depend on the individual pieces of audio and how much they differ. I recommend trying a trial license and directly seeing if the results meet your needs.

I would really appreciate the feature of exporting the audio once the plugin does its job. This is very cpu heavy and prevents me from using it on all of my tracks ( I record crowds and choirs a lot)

Did u really just state that "Vocalign will work the same no matter which format or DAW u are working in"? 😅 Thats a 100% lies!! It does mot work natively on LOGIC. It does not show capture buttons or groups. Unless and maybe just maybe, unless you compromize and open your whole DAW in Rosetta 😂😂 Really.. I knew the 400bucks were super high already. But 400bucks for something that LITERALLY doesn't even run properly is a joke!! Nahh.. behave ur self. Absolute joke of a company.
Hello! You can already use our plugins in ARA mode in Logic Pro with an Apple M1, M2 or M3 computer, you just need to open Logic Pro using Rosetta (make sure you download the latest Logic Pro). Native Apple silicon support for ARA plugins on M1, M2 and M3 computers requires Apple to rectify certain issues in future versions of macOS and Logic Pro, this is in the hands of Apple and we will update you as soon as we know anything!
