When Humf’s friends Wallace and Loon come round, they don’t play Humf’s game the way he wants them to. So Humf puts all his toys away and doesn’t want to play at all… until his friends make up a new way of playing Humf’s game that is much more fun to play with your friends.
One morning Humf woke up early. He was very happy because Mum and Dad were going to be at home all day. Mum and Dad were very busy but once they had finished what they needed to do they all went to the park together. Then they went home and Humf helped Mum and Dad tidy the house.
Loon asks Humf to bring his favourite cuddly toy, Crispy Cakehead, to her flat for a tea party. But when Humf arrives he finds Loon has changed her mind. Humf wants to learn how to change his mind too and discovers that he likes it. But he doesn’t want to change his mind about everything.
Humf is a furry thing. He is short and round and purple and cuddly. At three years old Humf is full of wonder at the world, and is always eager to explore the new things he sees around him. Humf knows what the questions are, even if the answers take a little longer to find.
