I am from the Philippines and trying to learn Spanish our lost language after American colonization. I find it very easy through your lessons after all Tagalog language still contain 30% Spanish. My appreciation and please continue.

Breaking up? Just say: " Estuve pensando, lo nuestro ya no da para más. ( I was thinking, our thing doesn't work out any longer.)" or better: " Eres demasiado buena para mí, búscate a alguien mejor. ( You're too good for me, find yourself someone better.)"

This was a very special lesson that is invaluable to English speakers who not only want to speak Spanish, but use it in a way that really matters. And the teacher just nailed this, in both style and substance. Spanish is a Romance language (like French, Italian, and Portuguese), and even though "Romance" really means "of Rome", they are also known worldwide as languages of love.

Your energy is great! Your videos are fun to watch and I am learning quite a bit. We recently went on a trip to Peru with my friend (a native from Lima) and had a great time. I spoke some Spanish but I'd really like to continue learning. I have very many Spanish words in my vocabulary but I have trouble structuring sentences. Do you have any tips for someone in my position or maybe some other resources I should use? Thanks again and keep up the fantastic work!

You're so adorable and i love this lesson! I want to learn to speak to my boyfriend in Spanish more and I've been having trouble trying to express how I feel without having a weird direct translation. This helped me so much. I'm marrying a muy bella mujer. I want to say my vows en español. I have about 7 months to learn everything I can. I got one of those grande notebooks. The one with pockets and folders built in. I've been watching your videos. Taking notes, and before I go to sleep putting on 6 or 7 hour videos with someone saying the english word, then repeating it in spanish. I've heard you can learn and retain some knowledge that way as well. I just wanted to say thank you. Mucho Gracias, Ana. I have learned alot, and hope to learn all I can from you. I just don't want to let her parents down. Her grandmother doesn't speak any english as well. So, I want to do it for her, too.
