Yeah but she's literally correct. The purpose is to get back more hours in the day for your subconscious to learn new shit. You wouldn't obtain a separate personality for your subconscious. Writing letters to yourself wouldn't serve any purpose, it probably only works because Jerry would like it to work. There's no "Night Jerry" it's just Jerry. At best you could be your own therapist by analyzing your subconscious thoughts. But even then what good would that do? What task is he programming, "think about life and write me a letter"? Subconscious thoughts are in the moment. They need stimuli. Something "Night Jerry" wouldn't be getting to any meaningful degree. The device was made to make you perform tasks while basically sleepwalking, allowing you to train muscle memory or literally train in Morty and Rick's case.
From a scientific perspective, our knowledge of the subconscious mind remains incomplete, and utilizing it to enhance emotional self-awareness could result in a mutually beneficial outcome. It would still have some access to how his basest feelings and desires might be, so I feel that beth was being. . . Well, beth >~>. Purpose is malleable in this case, a pen-pal is a pen-pal, and god knows nobody in his family is willing to have these sort of self-actualizing chats with him.

"cómo lo llevas" Is wrong, It should be something like "cómo andas", "cómo va todo" or "que hay de nuevo" It truly hurts me when characters are suposed to be fluent in spanish and end up making super simple mistakes, like, how do you mess up a greeting
