guy with the elite has some serious target panic, let that pin float my boy. it’s 3 seconds after the anchor he’s shooting when he’s still settling the pin. love your execution, solid shooting
People gotta learn to pull thru the shot- not punch with the thumb or the finger as you do a drive-by shot. It's about control from before you even draw the bow until the arrow gone. Yes, you CAN be in control with a short shot cycle like 4 seconds especially if you are in really great archery shape.
Are you speaking on ne specifically? Otherwise everyone isn't trying to be targeted shooters. This was about fun with my guys. It wasn't about coaching or changing anyone's way of executing a shot. If you're getting precise accurate shots off in 4 seconds congratulations. But as stated no one but myself is a target/competition shooter.
Having a process that's repeatable and accurate is hard work. Removing bad habits and mentally managing yourself correctly through every shot. It's something you have to be intentional about. I want to succeed in this sport.
Those were TAC arrows and honestly I could’ve went lighter. I learned a lot about that arrow setup. Especially over distances of 60+. I’ll do a video on the arrows I use in tournaments. They’re Black Eagle PS23’s
Well my advice is to jump in as I did lol. Look up the rules in the league up there. It'll tell you what class you're in as well according to your setup
Just my thoughts on these TAC shoots- ridiculous! Other than having fun possibly I am thinking there's very little practical knowledge to be gained loosing a few expensive arrows. Anyone with any hunters honest ethics would not shoot at a 60-70-80 yard deer etc. I guess one would learn about how exact your form has to be to make called shots at those crazy distances? Now if I was a 3-d target archer with the target setup one might gain some knowledge??? But you have got to be real good shooter with a great setup for hunting to realize much. If your rig isn't setup 110% for absolute accuracy what are you learning here? Nothing. But just plain ol' fun? Something to said for that too. 👍👍
No one is running there hunting setups though. We put these bows together for performance and balance. These are seriously cheap arrows compared to arrows I compete with. This isn't hunting in any way loo. Just like this isn't comp shooting for me. No one is trying to pur food on the table nor make podiums with TAC. Relax and have some fun with archery. I would've laughed at anyone running their 3d 50yd setups with a 30" stabilizer at TAC.
