A demon with his rank always get one hit from Wukong's thousand pound stick, but this tiger has a trick up his sleeve. Not only he can escape from Wukong, he also create diversion to capture Triple Taka and cause a lot of trouble to the monks.
Journey to the West is one of the best stories ever written. The closest modern thing to it is Eternal Love also known as Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. If you are an avid book reader or simply never read a book in your life I suggest give one of these a try. They are absolutely spectacular! Sun wukong is somewhat early god of war but more egotistical. Wukong starts off as chaotic monkey that is pushed into leadership because he is strong, and has trained with the best Taoist master who teaches him the 72 transformations. Wukong then is greedy and wants immortality seeking it from the Underworld and Heaven. He forces the God of the Underworld to strike his name from the Book of Mortals. Then in Heaven he causes havoc seeking to defeat the God of Heaven. The God of Heaven finally acknowldeges him and asks him to stop his chaos prompting him to work in the Heaven stables. Wukong began to get bored and went to look around. He saw the immortal peach garden and went to ransack and eat all the peaches. He was caught and punished by being burnt in a gourd but all that did was imbue him with eyes that was able to distinguish demons. He broke out drank all the immortal wine, and caused more havoc. The God of Heaven was at his final wits and called Buddha as the last straw. Buddha challenged him and at the peak of his pride Wukong accepted and lost. The journey to the west is his attonement and his redemption

The Jade Emperor wanted to subdue Sun Wukong because he was too powerful and out of the control of the Heavenly Court, but the Jade Emperor looked down on monkeys, so he asked Sun Wukong to come to the Heavenly Court to be a horse breeder. Sun Wukong did not know at first that this position was low and insulting to monkeys, so he happily took the position. When he learned the truth, Sun Wukong returned to Huaguo Mountain in anger and gave himself a higher position, the Monkey King (this is the origin of the Monkey King). 2. The Jade Emperor was so angry that he sent troops to attack Huaguo Mountain, but failed, so he thought of recruiting him again, and recognized his title of the Monkey King, but did not give him the treatment he deserved 3. The Queen invited all the upper gods to the Peach Festival, but did not invite the "Monkey King".
