You don’t really have to worry about shipping to Europe considering Games Workshop (the company that owns Warhammer) is based in England.

Would highly recommend you check out the likes of Weshammer and Leutin. Bricky's got good lore videos sure but unlike the two I mentioned that's not his main thing. Weshammer, Leutin, Baldermort, and Laying Down The Lore: Warhammer 40K are my go-to for all things 40K lore. For examples on the Dark Age of Technology's technological feats, note that the Adeptus Mechanicus have actually got several but do not fully understand them: The Forge World (their term for a factory-planet) of Graia possesses an artificial orbital ring that is capable of traveling through the warp to other worlds and is full of mining and harvesting equipment, so it can effectievly go and harvest an entire world for resources then come back to Graia and deliver those resources to the factories. The forge world of Metalica is a literal Dyson Sphere (totally artificial planet) with a chained sun serving as it's power source. In the Dark Age of technology AI was so prevalent that it's uprising scarred humanity so badly that any computer running on any operating system better than Windows 98 is treated as heresy, and advanced computing tasks are performed by cyborged serf/slaves/criminals who are lobotomized and their brainmeat used as the computer core. 40K is a humanity that reached it's zenith, then due to a combination of hubris, rebellion, and the actions of other races has been reduced to a brutal regime desperately clawing to survive in a universe where THE AFTERLIFE ITSELF is at war with you, and the alien races are too. Welcome to 40K. Grab a boltgun and find a xeno. We expect 100 corpses by lunch.

The Skull in 40k's Imperium of Man, is symbolic representation of the Emperor's sacrifice on the Golden Throne. It's like the cross to Christians today. Further slapping symbology on things in 40k is a very superstitious way to get the masses in-line. Things like he (the Emperor) is always watching and the Emperor protects. So these uneducated population believes it, and belief in 40k actually feeds Power to the Emperor. In 40k, some humans joined the Xenos (alien) empire caused the Tau. The Tau told them about their belief in "The Greater Good". These uneducated humans thought that was their gods name. The Tua have miniscule souls, unlike humans who don't have souks quite as strong as the Eldar but way stronger than the Tau. So the Tau never once manifested a God, they were collectively as a species too weak to do so... but the humans, nope, they created a part Tua, part other alien, part human goddess from the power of just a few billion humans thinking about what this "greater good" God was like.

The Emperor's true name isn't known. We know his lover Erda, who met him when it was still BC called him Neoth. Erda was killed by Chaos space marine in the Horus Herecy just after the year 30,000 AD However we also know he has taken the form of men, women and children throughout history. Ironically we do know he was Alexander the Great as you guessed (he later names his ship after his favorite horse from when he was Alexander), it used to be lore that he was also Jesus Christ (technically never retconned, just never brought up again). It also used to be lore that he was Merlin. We also know he was Saint George the Dragon Slayer (in this case the C'Tan called the Void Dragon). Essentially if there was a leader of men who died tragically, a mysterious hero that soon disappeared, or a teacher of morals who died young, they might have been the Emperor trying to influence society they shrinking back into the shadows. Then getting back to his obscurity. Per the old lore he ended up hating religion though because of how people mistook his lessons as Jesus to launch holy wars against other religions. In 30k before 40k, he actually wiped out every religious church on Terra of every religion. We know he wasn't Genghis Khan, as he fell to Khorne and became a demon prince. The Emperor stated once he was born in 8,000BC in what is today Turkey. Later his father was murdered by his Uncle, when the future Emperor of Mandkind found out he stopped his Uncle's heart with his mind, but never revealed tge truth of his father being murdered by his brother because that would have cast shame on his aunt-in-law and cousins. In old lore though he was the result of lots of Shamman merging their souls, and presumably landing inside a woman's womb to be reincarnated.

If you can manage to put Khorne on a pike and cook him, you can absolutely eat him. Nobody has managed to get that far in 40,000 years, though

Nope, plenty of regular humans live to old age in 40k (not Space Marines though). That with rejuvenation treatments too, so you live to over 200 while still looking only 70. How's you have to be rich or super connected for that... and 99.9999999998% aren't that luck. There's 1 Space Marine who is 1,600 years old, and many Custodes are over 10,000.

As to the missing 2 Primarchs. Originally they were just references to the lost Legions of Rome. However fans started using these lost 2 Primarchs to create their own self-insert characters or custom Space Marine Legions (like the Space Maids who have a ton of memes). Games Workshop went, 'omg! This is great!' And quickly implied the 2nd Primarch was an asshole and possibly evil, while the 11th Primarch was loved by all his brothers and was more a tragic situation. Though we never learned eithers name, but they did set up a mystery of what happened that they could later write books about if one day it ever becomes more profitable to reveal them rather than leaving them open-ended. Now technically, all the Primarchs have super powerful souls, and with the exception of Horus (maybe) any dead Primarch can resurrect if the Emperor builds them a new body and grabs their soul out of the warp. It's believed all the Primarchs are warp beings given super upgraded flesh. They could potentially be ancient human gods of mythology that survived Chaos and the Emperor kinda crammed several of these broken fragments of either a singular god or multiple gods and made them into his sons. The Primarchs also don't have human brains, as they have an unknown part of their brain dubbed the Immortus Gland per the lore... and we have no clue what it does or how big it is. Only that they have a highly modified brain based upon the human mind. However Primarchs literally never forget any detail (they basically have perfect memory) baring a psyker ripping memories from their mind (and they can figure out that it's modified because they remember everything else so clearly they can spot tampering).

Sh*t ton of text incoming! Bricky got some of it wrong and some of it is for the entertainment. The Old Ones didn't really say "piss off" but it was more like "your destiny is for you to decide". They seeded life to the galaxy but mostly doesn't interfere with it. Cybernetic Revolt ends and then The Age of Strife started by the Warpstorms which is the Eldars debauchery's side effect. This continues few thousand years, The Emperor starts the Unification Wars on Terra. After Terra's unification Slaanesh is born and that clears the Warpstorms. Clearing of the Warpstorms is the start of the Great Crusade. Eldar were basically immortal, even if they died their souls could just hang out and wait for someone make them a new body. Now that Slaanesh is around the Craftworld Eldar use soulstones to trap their souls so Slaanesh doesn't get them. Dark Eldar nobles have backup bodies and they can resist Slaanesh's pull for a time. Bricky really did Malcador dirty by just brushing as "someone else taking control of the Throne". Malcador he was The Emperor's best friend that knew everything about him and acted as Regent in his absence and "Uncle" of the Primarchs. He was the man who had his explicit trust. Pretty sure he was the one who convinced The Emperor to become The Emperor. Malcador was also the 3rd strongest psyker of the Imperium. Magnus was supposed to be the contingency plan so Malcador wouldn't have to control the Throne in The Emperor's absence. The Emperor uses his psychic powers to alter peoples perception of him. For example all the "fan art" you see is the artist's perception of the Emperor, pretty meta. If you read enough Warhammer 40k books you notice how the Emperor talks and behaves as the person he is speaking to him would expect of him. Like their ideal version of him. The Emperor is a plot device and he should, in my opinion, stay mysterious and unknown. 1000 psykers daily isn't really that bad considering the whole human population is in the quintillions (that is 18 zeros)

Another has picked up the Boltgun, accepted the holy armor, and joined the Emperor’s ranks. Tori will rise to the heights of the Adepta Sororitas, rid The Emperor’s realm of the filthy Xenos, cleanse the galaxy of all that stand against him, and will defy those who would call themselves “Gods of Chaos”.
