Learning English Podcast - Vatican Opposition, Ford Truck, Human Viruses 

Ashley Thompson and Dan Novak are the hosts of the Tuesday, April 9 podcast.
Mario Ritter starts with a story on the Vatican’s opposition to sex change operations and surrogacy. The church says those activities violate human dignity. It compares them to abortion and euthanasia, saying they reject God’s plan for human life.
Bryan Lynn has a report on America’s best-selling vehicle for 42 years: the Ford F-150 pickup truck. One of the reasons the Ford pickup has stayed on top for so long is that the vehicle has remained popular from one generation to the next.
For the Health & Lifestyle report, Dan Novak reports that even though the AIDS and COVID-19 viruses jumped from animals to people, researchers have found that humans give about two times as many viruses to animals than they give to us. Ashley then joins Dan in the studio for further explanation of zoonosis and anthroponosis.
