We all want to feel loved, we all want to experience love and we all look to love to be the answer for our insecurites. The greatest thing is that we ARE loved, and it’s given to us freely. We don’t have to earn it.
The Apostle John referred to himself as the beloved, and in his Gospel, John focuses on how Jesus loved and even found delight in His people.
"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love." John 15:9
