What wonderful memories! My Mama used to make our camping trips so much fun growing up! I’m sixty-two now and still remember those trips! Your sweet ones will never forget these times!💕 Good job on your skirt! That was a challenging pattern; pockets, gathering…Wow! I was in the eighth grade when Mama allowed me to use her sewing machine. She was such a skilled seamstress that she would tell me the next step without even looking at the directions! I had to take sewing in high school to learn how to read a pattern. My best friend and I made most of our clothes. You’re probably too young to remember wrap around skirts. I loved them! As always, such a great episode!!! BTW, I love those little legs sticking out of that wrap! They sure are getting longer! Too cute! I could write all day on your videos! Thank you!🙌🏻🫶🏻💕 🛶 🥯

Way to get into the spirit of your sister's get together! You were blessed by stretching yourself with quality time with your daughter and giving her the chance to be the one who knew more. Man, that’s some yummy munchies you packin’. We pretty much had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, carrots, & celery sticks, and if we were lucky those little cheese sandwich crackers or apple and orange slices! I love that you attempted the skirt even though you were not comfortable about it. I had to chuckle when you tried it on and spun around! Your smile was so big!😉😊♥️

Here in Nebraska we go "tanking". We use a metal stock tank that can fit a few adults or children. We also use giant innertubes as well as kayaks and canoes. There is even a contest of decorating the stock tank and having a race. We float down stream then find a place to stop and eat or have squirt gun fights. A large size innertube or several are packed with coolers, food and drinks. It's great fun. I bet your kids love this outing for your family. Your children are so blessed by their parents!! I can't sew really either. This would be a stretch 😂. Good for you! I have made beginner dresses that basically involved cutting the bottom 3rd off of a tshirt and then attaching a skirt to it.

A tip for super smooth hummus. Boil the canned chic peas in water and some baking soda until very soft, and then blend. No more chunky hummus!

Well the skirt looks great. I am new at sourdough made my first loaf and it was a failure. I think the issue was the dough was too moist. I watched so many videos saying do not add too much flour well I won’t give up but I did put the starter in refrigerator until it gets cooler outside.
