Well this move they’re learning is called a back handspring and not a back flip. This wouldn’t teach you how to do a backflip. Back handsprings are still really cool though!
@@shhhyourtooloud257 I disagree a little. Yes, some important things can always be done on a tight budget. But you cannot smooth the playing field for many people. You cannot conjure up computers since they are becoming as common as water in everyday application. Working at a high level of stress and low funding is very exclusionary to most people. It will burn out the teacher as well. I understand what you are saying and i agree. But becoming stronger by fire only goes so far.
Okk, we need this in school!! It's freaking amazing!! I'm 18 and still fearing to try this.. but I really wanna learn !! This must b included in schools !!
I am a gymnast and mainly self taught as I have started gymnastics about 6 weeks ago!! The way I learned a backflip was I did a backlimber and started increasing a small jump before it till I was jumping from my feet, now I can do a back tuck on grass, hoped this helped 💕
This is also very good muscular preperation for the backflip. To let yourself fall and jump into a direction you have no visual information about, requires to overcome a lot of natural caution. The confidence and flexibility training is important for all sports, since practicing safe falling is the first lesson you will go through.
The little girls ling and yuki did the best their form and position is perfect the other two lei and wang did good too bout time they grow up they will be Elite's amazing sensi they have❤
That’s a pretty cool system! I remember just being thrown into backflips and handsprings a over decade ago when I did gymnastics in a group of ten other girls and we got it super soon. I still think this is a better way - at least as an option
Back flip is where they don't touch the ground, that right there is a backhand spring. Front handspring is similar, but jumping forwards into a backbend and up.
Its pretty good. Not to brag I was doing double backflips on my trampoline by age 8. My brother would do a double tucked front flip like sub zero from the roof of the house. Im glad we are both still alive.🙂
These aren't backflips, these are back handsprings. Backflips are done without your hands touching the ground. I actually used a similar method to learn back handsprings with the big foam roller when I was little. I started doing gymnastics and tumbling when I was around 6 years old.
As an Olympic trampoline competitor let me tell you how I learned to backflip. Step one. Elbow brace. Put both your arms above your head and hold both your elbows. This is the brace position that protects your neck and skull from injury. Step two. Roll backwards to the side with the brace. Step three. Attempt to backflip off to the side on a soft surface. Step four. Jump as high and as far as you can, tuck your knees in as tight as possible. Congrats. You have done a backflip. Practice for years.
I go to Taekwondo as part of extra curricular activities in our school, buy we were never taught anything sbout backflips But i still support this video, maybe they are just discovering new things
These kids having it easy. In 2000's i have to learn doing backflip on a thin mattress, on a hard ground. And you know the tong drums for storing oil? Our instructor would instruct us to roll on these row of drums before finally started doing the jumping technique.😂
These kids are being protected by the pain of failure. The point is not to learn how to be comfortable with teqniques, the point is to embrace fear and fluidity of movement. If you master fear and pain only then you can do a perfect backflip. If these kids fall down and hit themselves once, chances that they will never try it again are high.
Well i am in Taekwondo and believe me its hard but our master is very kind and we already know cartwheels so it gets easier to do flips but i do gymnastics too and flips are hard. Oh yea best we do handspring first and front is gonna be the most comfortable and the easiest start I Love Taekwondo With All My Heart ❤
I wish someone would’ve taken the time to teach me basic stuff like this. I never really learned to move my body, I was always way too scared and stuck in freeze mode, which was too much of a hassle for busy parents and the public school system. Now as an adult I feel way too much embarrassment even thinking of going to a gym and experimenting with movement so I just…sit.
Back in my day we do it every harvest season when there are a lot of hay. After some poking to make sure it's not burning under that pile, we go flipping all day long.
I was at the beach and saw a small group of guys learning the backflip so I joined them because I was curious to see if i could learn. The instructor and his assistant helps by holding their hands behind you so you don't hurt your neck. When it finally got to my turn all I remember was landing on my feet!.. Surprised, they told me I was pranking them thinking I'm a pro whilst it was really my first time. My next try made them realise i was lucky the first time🤣
Wish I was taught how to do a filp this way in gymnastics. It was basically a 50/50 chance on if your going to ether hurt yourself a little or skin what ever part of your body hits the sandpaper mat first
