VINCENT MILOU gave me his secret to frontside flips at street league a few weeks ago. He told me how to frontside flips by flicking out and around. He showed how many people don't know how to frontside flips because they flick their frontside flips sideways because they don't know how to frontside flips with proper technique. In this video I learn how to frontside flip using this tip from vincent milou and hopefully you can learn how to frontside flips from watching me struggle through the process. I can definitely say that vincent milou's tip is the secret to frontside flips and it definitely helped me learn how to frontside flips.
Thanks Vincent!
I learned how to frontside nosegrind really fast but never well. In this video I take a step back to try Dan Corrigans practice method for learning how to frontside nosegrind to see if I can finally understand how to frontside nose grind. Learning how to frontside nosegrind has be. a struggle but I'm happy with the progress on my nosegrinds in this video and I hope that it can help you learn how to frontside nosegrind as well!

I’ve always thought it as really digging your nose into the rail, curb, ledge, etc. So trying to basically nose manny and dig my front truck in just made it harder for me to learn

do longer nose manuals maybe itll help you stay on that front truck and keep the shoulders in position. nice progress on the nosegrind though, keep working on the pop out. maybe even try to do an early pop out? true homie. i would say maybe skateboarding80/20 to vlogs. sprinkle a vlog in here or there. feel like skateboarding always has to be in the video though.

Yeah it would still be all about skating but I guess maybe a bit more of me sharing my feelings and thoughts a bit more and talking to the camera like a homie rather than an audience

You’re right - it’s bad to leave your board in the car because of the delamination like you said. But also, it’s more likely to just warp the wood in general which ruins the board. It messes with your bushings too.
@localjoe

@daandefraine748
@daandefraine748 3 года назад
Try to push your board more forward when you pop out the nosegrind. Its going to be easier to clear the ledge because now you just nollie down but if you push it forward like a crook you clear the ledge and its looks more controlled when you get out of it
@localjoe

@UC_0YI7QyEpMiYWC4v26MeOQ Its great that you give structure to the video letting us know what your going to be doing. But once you're doing it, it would be awesome for you to share your real time honest reactions and feelings as your progressing through the session - like vloging while your skating. Guessing you could easily chat to the camera when you are picking it up to move the angle or taking a breather etc.

The warm up session on the ledge was solid. I am also working in nose grinds. I think it is just a great feeling and looking trick. I have just tasted them a little but I want the whole meal. True Homie but honestly the subject of the video is what gets me to watch. This was a solid subject. Iphone worked fine. How was the editing process? Did you edit in the phone?

True Homie. I’m here for the skating. I used to like other channels like Chris Chann for example, but I rarely watch his videos now because there’s only 30 seconds of skating, or less in his vlogs. You gotta listen to the crowd though. It’s all good.

You ever get burnt out? Been in this weird burnt out stage in life that’s been affecting my uploading and you upload way more consistent then I ever have. Just wondering if you have and how you over came it.
@localjoe
@localjoe 3 года назад
For me I’ve worked a lot of jobs I hated so RU-vid on it’s worst day is better than those jobs on it’s best so that keeps me hungry. But also I try to make things as simple and easy as possible. I’ll write down a script/plan for every video and that makes filming a lot less stressful. Also I try to film to do as little editing as possible. Just figure out what you hate the most about the process and figure out a way to make that part more simple and easy and it should flow a lot better. Obviously I’m not a pro or anything but those are my thoughts on it! Hope it helps!
@JaySkateDay
@JaySkateDay 3 года назад
@@localjoe it definitely helps! Shoot you might be pro with the process man, thank you 🙏🏾
