HOLY SHIT! kirts shopping cart and surfboard reference was what I needed to hear for today's ride! PAUL!!! KEEP UP YOUR LEARNING VIDEOS! THEY'RE HELPING ME!
wow. dude this video taught me more in ten minutes than anything i've ever watched before. as you know i'm new to mtb (six months) and this all made sense.
I'm just as new as you, got a Nukeproof Scout a few months back and this video taught me more than every jumping video I've watched COMBINED. And that isn't an exaggeration. These guys are so good at what they do and they've done it for so long that they explain things with a deeper understanding of what they're saying. Despite having so much knowledge they break things down so that anyone at any level can grasp it. Amazing.
Great advice at 3.48. 👊👍. The best advice I ever got was “it’s a push bike. Not a pull bike” when learning to jump and hit drops. Talking with legends in our sport and taking it and running with it massively helps out. Great video Paul. Your a lucky dude. Keep it up. 👊
Great video! Thanks to Kirt and Cam for some of the most solid jumping tips out there. Especially love how they break it down and provide analogies for the techniques. Jumping has always been my weakness since bmxing as a kid. Can't wait to practice these techniques! Thanks for putting this content out!
Wow, the amount of tips these masters fit into 10 minutes is crazy. Probably the best MTB tutorial I’ve seen ever! Funny guys too. Thanks for this, Paul!!
Everyone of these videos with the pros help me so much, the one with Hanna, this one and the one about cornering, these are some of the best videos ont the internet, thanks because you helped me so much. Thanks dude
3:02 put it in GREAT perspective for both MTB and dirt bike launches. load that suspension and take out all of the slop and potential for compression. Grocery cart, surfing examples were great. It's all about understanding what the bike is doing!
Awesome!! Never seen a tutor tricks video with the detail and explanation from pro's as convenient, practical and clear like this I almost feel I can do it right away and can't wait to try it. Thanks and keep the shred !
7:04 - 7:06 That was great seeing you trying to push the bike far to the front, Is that spontaneous? Love when the Pro's helping you out with hearts and sincere , different things happen in my place the Pro's actually just watching at you and your bikes laughing at you if you using cheap stuff... This is very good footage for beginner like me thanks Paul😊✊👍
Really Dope video Paul, so cool to see Cam and Kurt getting involved spending their own time and investing in yours and every viewers development. really great video. Cam's Crankworx voice is so soothing hopefully the comps are back soon!!!
Easily the best video you've done. loved the tutorial, it was explained very well, and the humor was great too., keep it up paul! you're vids are getting better!
As soon as I saw Cam and Kirt I knew we were in for a treat. Great tutorial on how to jump from two absolute legends with great humour. Hopefully will be able to practice all of that next season (local bike park, Leogang, just closed last weekend and winter is coming!).
Paul - you're buddy in red is soo good at explaining how to transition in the jumps, he should be a MTB coach. Both guys were great in helping you push you to your limits. Easily the most educational jump vid I've seen. Thanks for sharing. Keep on riding.
Huge thx Paul. The last 2 episodes were the best ones ever. Specially this one. Entertaining, funny as fuck yet a lot to be learned. And the Joey of the week reference made me crack up. Cam and Kirt are awesome. What a treat to get coaching by these two. Love love loved it! 🤙😁
Really enjoyed this video. Great job. Progression is what keeps me going with mountain biking. Everything else bores me too quickly but mountain biking has endless new learning opportunities. I love it!!
Man I've been watching your videos for a while you've inspired me to go out and get riding I've been using my friend's bike and it's been really fun thank you for the inspiration keep up the good work 👍
That's so rad Jacob! It really is the best time ever to be mountain biking right now. Bikes are good, there are so many trails everywhere - it's good times.
the cart on the parking lot is one one the best or the best explanation I've ever heard!! I may use it from now on ^^ Thx Kirt! You guyz are legends! :D
This was an awesome video. Good info!! All three of you guys are the kind of folks I like to rip with. I'm still a crappy jumper but I'm working on it, and this video actually did help a lot.
The best explanation of hip jumps and how to lean bikes in the air i've ever seen! Thanks for the video, really tempted to try jump some, even though i was quite scared of them before.
Great Video! 1st time in a long time that I actually understood what i've been doing wrong all time. Great demos and Kirt breakdowns are brilliant!! thx!
HAHAHA! The "that dude, that's me" guy at 8:46 is me!! It felt so much farther and flowier than it looks on camera. No wonder my kids make fun of me for riding stiff! HAHAHA! Great video!!!
Glad to see you got the help. Might have been able to find some one better but I doubt it. Now next summer take Kirt's advice to that wooden drop you kept giving up on.
I’m riding there next September for only one day and this video has scared the shit out of me ! I have only seen the features on this trail on RU-vid POV vids, not up close like that. Huge man.
That shopping trolley analogy is a great little mental trick - hadn't thought of it that way before. I keep getting disconnected from my bike in the air and I think it was because I wasn't pushing the bike over the jump so that it stays with me more.
T'is video was too lit! 't was very specific when it comes on conquering jumps that you're not familiarized of👌 Thanks to u Paul! I gotta do my off jumps faster now🤘
This is a great tutorial! Summit is one of my local parks, and that kicker on Party Wave has been in my head for two years. I think I need to watch this a few more times, then go try it. Thanks!
What an incredibly insightful video. Thanks Paul. My only question is about loading the forks...at what point on the ramp (take off) are you supposed to push down? Cheers
Damn Paul! That was freaking awesome when you cleared the goggles. I could see you extend the bike to make the extra distance. Did you enjoy the air time? I often tense/freeze in the air which of course increases the probability of screwing up on the landing. Yes, those guys are good, but you were able to do what they were telling you. That's huge. Well done sir. I just turned 65 and want to learn how to jump like you. Way to inspire us all. Again I say, well done!!
