In the original Greek, there are different words used for different types of love. Each type needs its own separate discussion. Not all types are created equal.

The verses used to support this discussion were derived from the New Testament and because New Testament writers seldom used the more widespread Greek terms for love such as “Eros” (desire) and “Philos” (companionship) in their writings - the central focus for this conversation was Agape love as that is the type of love we receive from God & the type of love we are charged to exude to others. Apologies if that was left unclear in the video!
